LOH #243.......My choice for a pet

Pets are lovely and cute animals to have around the home. It is so much fun domesticating an animal, taming it to be cute for you. From cute pets like dogs, cats, parrots,, goldfish, to weird ones like lions, tigers and snakes. Each person chooses animals they are sure they can take proper care of and shower affection on.

Personally, if I could have any animal as a pet, it would definitely be a dog. I have always loved dogs because of how sensible they are and easy it is to care for them. I also like dogs because they can be extremely cute too. They are brave animals as well and that's why they play a role in securing the home (not that we ask them to).

Presently, I don't own a pet but my neighbour does. He owns two dogs one female and one male. The female dog is named Rica while the male is named Leo. Leo is actually the son of Rica and he is so adorable. When he was still small, he was cute and played a lot especially after taking his milk but now as he grows older, he is becoming very mischievous. He bites my shoes all the time, hehe.

I love to play with Leo after I return home from work. His happy tail wagging is a joy to behold. Once he hears my voice from the gate, he would start barking happily. My neighbour would have no choice but to let him out so he can come greet me with his small paws.

Leo can be so naughty too. One time, he ate an orange coloured balloon left on the floor by a little child. Leo probably taught it was candy and ate it. Then he started having stomach troubles and by the time he would defecate, he defecated the orange balloon. It was very hilarious because the balloon got stuck in his anus for a while before it finally came out.

Since I know that I love dogs so much and would choose them to be my pet, the gender of the dog matters too. I would prefer a male dog to a female dog. The reason behind my choice is that male dogs are brave, they don't act all coy or be overly dramatic. Trust me, I have seen a lot of female dogs and their dramas, hehe.

Having a male dog as my pet would mean adequate protection whether I'm at home or taking a stroll. I won't be bothered by stalkers as I take my walk. Also make dogs can be very possessive of their masters especially if the master is a female.

I watched some tiktok videos about dogs and I normally see the different behavioural displays of both male and female dogs and that of the male dog pleases me very well. Plus I don't have to worry about my pet dog coming home with an unwanted pregnancy. If my male dog wants a mate,then I'll get him married and make sure that he stays faithful to his bride 😂.
