I would personally use the following word:
"Kamsahamnida" (감사합니다)

This word is very meaningful to me. When I watch my K-dramas, it's one of the words I hear most often, and it's one of my favorites because I've always liked to express gratitude.

If I could only say one thing in Korean, I would choose "Kamsahamnida" (감사합니다). We all need to hear "thank you," no matter what. If someone does us a simple favor or even a small gesture, however small, it's very nice to express gratitude.

Many years ago, a friend sent me an image via WhatsApp. I don't have it anymore because I changed phones, but I do remember the message in the image because of how profound it was and what it has meant throughout my life. The phrase in the image said:

Gratitude is the art of attracting good things.

And I have learned to be grateful every day: for life, for my family, for my job, for money, whether a little or a lot, for health, for the air we breathe, for our home, our friends. There are so many things to be grateful for.

That's why I choose "Kamsahamnida" (감사합니다). There are no words more beautiful than this, as it identifies us as good, respectful, and kind citizens.

It is important that parents teach their children to be grateful and always encourage gratitude. Because it is a sign of respect both in Korea and in every country in the world.
