What Happened in May? .:. June 1st HivePUD
After 46 consecutive #HivePUD events (in 2021, I missed 2 months! 😱), I have finally come up with an idea for what I can use these posts for... (Except for showing by example by powering up HIVE, as I do believe that HivePower is the most important asset on HIVE!) As I don't plan to stop doing these, I will try to do a monthly recap of things that happened in the past month... To remind myself of the journey, and to motivate myself to continue my "HIVE mission"! To bold what is important, and why I am here!

The most important thing was, of course, the #HiveCreatorDays in Graz, Austria! #HCDGraz was organized under the umbrella of @BuzzParty, with 2 major Hivians standing behind the organization, @tibfox and @reiseamateur! I have to repeat myself, but awesome job, guys!
Maybe I got the unlucky number on the ticket, but I was lucky to be there!
The event took place at the beginning of May, but the impressions stayed much longer and probably marked the first half of the month... I needed more time to absorb all the good vibes from the event, and I converted some of my thoughts into a couple of posts about #HCDGraz (if you're interested, you can easily find them on my blog)... To be honest, most of my content in May was about the event, except for #HHHLive show posts...
Speaking of the show... Despite saying that I would do it only every second week, I ran the show 3 times in May! I had to do the "recap" show of the #HCDGraz by inviting other participants to share their impressions with others who didn't have a chance to attend it... That show was a blast! It was great to hear the voices of people that I was hanging around with just a few days before that show! (you can check out the recording here)
I have to mention the other 2 #HHHLive shows as they were also great... The one was a Special Edition, where we don't record the show, and the other one was with @borniet as a special guest, which was a real teamwork and brainstorming hangout!!! It was so great to see people gathering around the show, giving ideas, and suggestions, not just to our guest, but also to other participants and HIVE in general!
Regarding @Liotes, we had some talks with @achim03 about some "future moves" regarding the project... We have already implemented some small tweaks, and we are planning to do some cool things in the future... If you want to know more about it, follow the official @liotes blog...
It's only June, but summer has already hit Spain! I spent more time offline, which is one of the reasons for fewer posts and interactions from my side... Unfortunately, for the rest of the month (and probably July, too), I will be even less online as I'm expecting guests at home... They will stay around 3 weeks, which means that I will probably put the #HHHLive show on break for that time... Nothing is 100% sure, and I will catch some free time, maybe I will do at least 1 show in June... We will see...

112K reached a few days ago, and slowly building my HP toward 113K! 12.5K more until my yearly goal!
If I check out my last #HivePUD in May, the monthly growth was 1765 HP! I did 16 posts during the last month, and 736HP was earned from curation rewards! That's huge!
Along with the other 47 Hivians, I got my #HivePUM badge for May! That's my second in a row, after missing a day during March this year!

To get this badge, you should power up at least 1 HIVE every day of the month OR create a post every day with rewards set to 100% HP...
So, what is #HivePUD?
Just a short introduction to HivePUD... What does it mean at all? #HivePUD is short for the Hive Power Up Day. It's an event when Hive members power up their liquid HIVE and stop any active PowerDown! It all began with great fellow Hivians @streetstyle and @traciyork and is held every 1st day of the month.

nice to have a steady grow , but the again if you are active on a daily base in a possitive way it all comes on it's own . Something newbies not often realise you see them strugeling not realizing that building your own network takes time and effort.

Building a network, a community, or just a group of friends isn't an easy job... Sometimes, I don't know what some newbies think (if they think)... There are some positive exceptions, but most of the time, it's a lot of "I try this.... I try that... Nobody likes me... Where I my upvotes..."
and fewer things like "I met this great Hivian... He helped me... I learned this... I help him to do that..."
Sometimes, I have a feeling that all these traditional social media is creating egoistic people only... who cares only about being in the spotlight, whatever they do... jumping on camera, or doing some crazy shit with no reason, or value...
I hope I'm wrong... But, I do think we can do better! 💪

It is exactly like this. It is the responsibility of all of us to support the project and my effort now is to end the power down and then join this event every month.

Happy HPUD. I powered up only 10 Hive, but I am on track towards my goals. It looks like quite a bit happened on the meetups, HHHLive, and Liotes.

It's great that you've earned over 700 HP just by upvoting for people, man. My goal is to reach 400. Last month, I managed to get to 150. I've got a long way to go :P
Curation rewards are great! Yes, they grow slowly, but they are satisfying when you know that the other half went into the wallets of your friends and people that you support! 🍷
Summer months are always very busy and there are lots of outdoor events. I don't know, but it seems like summer officially kicks off on the 20th or so. However, enjoy the time off, it could be a blessing in disguise, so don't worry, relish the good time off..
The problem is that people usually take 2-3 week breaks in summer, while somehow, my summer vacation is half-work, half-vacation... but it lasts a lot longer... Can't focus on building something "bigger", but I'm rather in a "survival mode", doing only routine tasks...

It was a very productive month! I was lucky to be able to attend that amazing event in Graz, and the rest was a pleasant bonus... Really enjoyed the shows during May as they had some "special energy"!

I saw that Detlev published dates for his Aachen meetup, which is a nice place to get connected... Unfortunately, for now, I didn't find cheap flights to any of the closer airports... I didn't check Belgium, but Germany and the Netherlands, I did...
Will see in the next days if I find something... ;)
You could try Belgian airports indeed, Liege (sometimes called Brussels South I believe) is small, cheap and not that far from Aachen!
In any case, I've already marked the dates in our agenda! Not sure if we will be able to make it for 3 days (kids and stuff), but 1 day is pretty certain! (and we WILL try for 3 ;-) )

Hehehehe... When you emigrate to another country, you rarely have your "own vacation"... While others go on vacation, you go to visit your family and friends... Not that I complain, it's just a fact... :)
