Yippeeee, my mini vacation begins. The next 6 days I am going to be in wonderland, the magical place Switzerland. It's a long-range flight 7 hours and guess what hubby has booked me a business class, so I am going to travel like a queen. That's the benefit of working for an Airline, you can fly Business class at the price of Economy, though there are terms and conditions. If the flight gets full then you can be off loaded on the subject to load ticket. Thankfully the flight is only 70% full so there was no hassle for me to get my seat.

Have completed the check-in and immigration formalities and now waiting at the boarding gate and using up this time to also make my today's post. For subject to load tickets, they do not give the lounge pass, but that's ok for me as far as I can travel comfortably other things do not matter to me. It's an afternoon flight so there was no rushing in the morning. I could complete all my morning chores and had good time at hand to do my things.

The airport looks quite crowded today, probably because this week the Eid holidays are there and everyone must have planned for short getaways from this scorching heat. In these short breaks expats mostly travel to their home towns. If I would had not had this trip planned then I would have also been travelling to Mumbai, my home. I am also relieved as it's going to be a week-long break from the heat and experiencing some outdoor pleasant climate. It's going to be a long journey, with 7 hours flight to Zurich and then a connecting flight of 1 hour to Geneva. By the time I reach to the hotel in Geneva it's going to be midnight. Thank god the connection is immediate and I do not have to wait for long at Zurich Airport to get the Geneva flight.

Tomorrow's day is light, I have planned to do somethings in Geneva itself, I can wake up a little late and start my day. By the time my trip will end, I will also manage to lose 1 to 2 kgs of weight, this always happens with my hectic itinerary and I am happy with this part :-) I have absolutely no shopping plans this time. All I plan to do it sightseeing and enjoying the weather.
