September has arrived, and with it, renewed energy. Here in Brazil, this month is marked by the celebration of the country's Independence. Brazil was once a colony of Portugal until, on September 7, 1822, Dom Pedro I proclaimed the famous phrase "Independence or Death!" on the banks of the Ipiranga River. Since then, Brazil ceased to be a colony and became an independent nation, later becoming a republic, ceasing to be ruled by Portuguese kings and becoming governed by presidents chosen by the people themselves.

The problem, however, is that the leaders chosen by the people often reflect the denunciations of society itself, resulting in dishonesty and corruption. Therefore, even more than 500 years after its discovery, the country still faces difficulties in advancing. This is one of the reasons why many Brazilians are diversifying their investments outside the country, as our currency suffers constant devaluation.

In this context, the world of cryptocurrencies emerges as an alternative to the traditional system. Among them, Hive has proven to be a good option for diversification, whether through Hive itself or through HBD, which yields 15% per year in savings accounts and is pegged to the dollar.

Every 1st of the month, Hive Power Up Day (HPUD) takes place, when users stake at least 10 Hive liquids to participate in the event. This initiative strengthens both the user's network and the Hive ecosystem, as it reduces the circulation of Hive liquids and helps stabilize the economy.

Everyone has their own strategy, and mine is the classic "rice and beans": holding a Power Up every first day of the month. It's been very successful so far. Last month, August, I reached the 8,000 HP mark—an incredible achievement!

August was excellent, although I wasn't able to post every day. The rush of my Master's degree has reduced my time participating in Hive, but I still managed to earn 652.52 HP (approximately $126.35) in author rewards and 27.7 HP (approximately $5.38) in curation. My rewards this month were lower than last month's, a direct consequence of not posting daily.

Now without further ado, let's power up 1000 Hive 😱

This was the biggest Power Up I've ever achieved during my Hive journey. With this, we've reached the 9,000 HP mark, getting ever closer to my goal of 10,000 HP.

My second goal is to have at least 1,000 HBD staked, but that will be for next year, as I'm currently experiencing a tighter financial situation in the real world.

O mês de setembro chegou e, com ele, as energias se renovam. Aqui no Brasil, esse mês é marcado pela comemoração da Independência do país. No passado, o Brasil foi colônia de Portugal até que, em 7 de setembro de 1822, Dom Pedro I proclamou às margens do Rio Ipiranga a famosa frase: "Independência ou Morte!". Desde então, o Brasil deixou de ser colônia e passou a ser uma nação independente, mais tarde transformando-se em república, deixando de ser governado por reis de Portugal para ser administrado por presidentes escolhidos pela própria população.

O problema, porém, é que os líderes escolhidos pelo povo muitas vezes refletem os vícios da própria sociedade, resultando em desonestidade e corrupção. Por isso, mesmo após mais de 500 anos desde o descobrimento, o país ainda enfrenta dificuldades para avançar. Esse é um dos motivos que levam muitos brasileiros a diversificar seus investimentos fora do país, já que nossa moeda sofre constante desvalorização.

Nesse contexto, o universo das criptomoedas surge como uma alternativa ao sistema tradicional. Entre elas, a Hive tem se mostrado uma boa opção para diversificação, seja pelo próprio Hive, seja pelo HBD, que rende 15% ao ano em savings e é pareado ao dólar.

Cada um tem sua estratégia, e a minha é o clássico “arroz com feijão”: realizar Power Up todo primeiro dia do mês. Tem dado muito certo até agora. No mês passado, agosto, alcancei a marca de 8K HP — uma conquista incrível!

O mês de agosto foi excelente, embora eu não tenha conseguido postar todos os dias. A correria do mestrado tem reduzido meu tempo de participação na Hive, mas ainda assim consegui ganhar 652,52 HP (aproximadamente $126,35) em recompensas de autor e 27,7 HP (cerca de $5,38) em curadoria. Minhas recompensas deste mês foram menores que as do mês anterior, consequência direta de não ter postado diariamente.

Este foi o maior Power Up que já fiz durante minha jornada na Hive. Com isso, atingimos a marca de 9.000 HP, ficando cada vez mais próximos da minha meta de 10.000 HP.

Minha segunda meta é ter ao menos 1.000 HBD em staked, mas essa ficará para o próximo ano, já que, no momento, estou passando por uma situação financeira mais apertada no mundo real.
