Noble Words : Loving myself, flaws and all !

Every person has their own unique strengths and weaknesses. Some excel in certain areas, while others may struggle. This diversity is what makes us human. No is perfect, and there are certain shortcoming in every individuals. My brother is very good in singing but when it comes to public facing he hesitate. There are many such example which outlines human shortcoming. This is what makes us to say, No one perfect, and their are flaws. This is what nicely explained in our Sanskrit verses, which says ;

दरिद्रता धीरतया विराजते कुरुपता शीतलया विराजते

कुभोजनं चौष्णतया विराजते कुवस्त्रता शुभ्रतया विराजते.

Daridrataa dheeratayaa viraajate kurupataa sheetalayaa viraasjate.
Kubhojanam choshnatayaa viraajate kuvastrastaa shrubhratayaa viraajate.

Daridrataa = being poor,
Dheerataya = being learned .
Kuroopataa = ugliness
Sheetalaya = beinng cool headed and sober.
Kubhojanam = food that is not nourishing, junk food.
Ooshna = Very hot and spicy
Ku-vastra = ill fitting and odd looking clothes
Shubhra = bright
Viraajate = adorned, appreciated, honored, liked.

i.e. Inspite of being poor a person is still honored if he is learned, an ugly looking person is still adorned by the society if he is cool headed and sober. Unhealthy food (junk food) is liked if it is spicy and hot and ill-fitting and odd looking clothes are still appreciated if they are brightly colored.

The underlying idea is that any shortcoming can be made good if a person possesses other qualities and virtues to counter-balance the shortcoming in him. Many people unable to cope with tye shortcoming and ends up losing their confidence level. To balance shortcomings, focus on identifying the root cause, evaluating solutions, considering the context, communicating, and monitoring progress. This involves understanding the issue, finding the best solution for the situation, and continuously adapting your approach.
