WHY TEACHERS MATTER
Tired of hearing excuses like NO MONEY IN TEACHING or NO FUTURE FOR TEACHERS?
The truth is, EDUCATION is VITAL, and TEACHERS are ESSENTIAL for shaping future generations.
THE CONSEQUENCES OF UNDERVALUING TEACHERS
If people continue to shun the teaching profession, we will face a severe shortage of EDUCATORS. The few remaining TEACHERS will be in high demand, and their services will come at a premium. Parents will bear the cost, and schools will suffer.
A HARSH REALITY
As long as humans exist and have children, schools and teachers will be necessary. However, if society continues to disregard teachers, the consequences will be dire.
THE ROOT CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM
Private school owners and parents’ attitudes towards teachers contribute significantly to the SCARCITY of EDUCATORS. It is time to recognize the VALUE of TEACHERS and treat them with respect.
BREAKING THE STIGMA
No parent wants their child to BECOME a TEACHER, but this MINDSET must change. Teachers are not SLAVES or VALUELESS individuals, they are the backbone of our EDUCATIONAL system.
A MESSAGE TO TEACHERS
While many teach for INCOME, remember that you have the POWER to earn more by leveraging your EXPERTISE. Do not rely solely on your SALARY, explore OPPORTUNITIES to MONETIZE your KNOWLEDGE.
Let us work together to
ENCOURAGE THE TEACHERS,
RESPECT THE TEACHERS,
AND RECOGNIZE THE IMPORTANCE OF TEACHERS.
NO TEACHERS, NO NATION,
THE FUTURE OF EDUCATION DEPENDS ON TEACHERS.
Why many parents do not want their children to be teacher is as the result of how teachers are treated especially in a country like Nigeria.
Nonetheless, teaching will remain a noble profession
Yes sir, it's a noble profession.
It's so pathetic. Because it's a potential problem. Just like a time bomb waiting to explode.
Do you know , a friend of mine who has a school and was looking for staff, ask me to help source for teachers for her. And I got in touch with some friends who are educationist, they told me they can't go into the teaching line oooo. I asked why, they listed their reasons which is not far from the reality and what's is written here and I now see that there is a problem.
Last term, out of a class of 50 , I asked some students how many of you wants to be a teacher in future, only about 8 lifted up their hands.
My brother , there is a problem
Rightly said...the time bomb isn't far from exploding...look around some private school they may not have teachers in numbers again.
I read somewhere last week, that all the teachers in a private school, resigned at ones 🤣🤣
It's funny but pathetic to the system
Teaching is a noble profession and should be respected and valued
Yes oo. It can only get better
