Marvel Thunderbolts Movie Review (Not the best, But was Worth Every Minute)

So yeah, after watching Thunderbolts, I have to say it actually hit different. I didn’t expect to enjoy it that much, after watching the movie I was like, “Wow… this wasn’t just another Marvel copy-paste movie.

It’s not flashy like Endgame, and it’s not trying to be so funny like Guardians. It’s darker, more serious, and honestly, more real. These characters are kinda broken: Bucky, Yelena, Taskmaster, Red Guardian they all have stuff they’re dealing with. And it shows. Like, they’re not trying to be heroes, they’re just trying to survive and maybe do something that matters.

The chemistry between them is messy, but in a good way. They argue, they don’t trust each other, they mess up… but somehow that made the team-up feel more earned.

Bob a.k.a Sentry was with the team, until he got under Void's Control. He changed totally. Got the whole Thunderbolts team beaten in minutes, be was so powerful, the only way to stop Void was to get him out of Bob's mind. Yelena's bravery in this movie just reminded me about black widow. The way she was so brave and bold to get into Void's mind to take Bob out, I was really impressed.

Yelena single handedly made the team to get into Bob's mind together and help get Bob out.

Marvel later announced that Marvel Thunderbolts is just a stepping stone to THE NEW AVENGERS!

Can't wait for the Next Marvel Movie!

This was such a refreshing taken on Thunderbolts. I like you pointed out the raw, darker tone -it really did feel more grounded and emotinally layered than the typical Marvel formula. The whole angle with Sentry and Void was intense, and Yelena stepping up like that gave serious Natasha vibes. It's cool to see Marvel leaning into more complex, flawed characters. Your excitement is contagious -definitely hyped for the New Avenger now too

It's not the best Marvel movie, but it was a breath of fresh air for me. I hope they continue to dare to experiment in the future.
