My Review on the movie "DEEP COVER"

I'm so happy to be writing here today. I just watched DEEP COVER, and I really enjoyed watching it, and I am sure I will watch it again.

I see the movie as a comedy because I laughed all through watching it.
The movie is about 3 people who work in different places. One of the characters was Hugh; he worked in a company where he was not seen or known and tried to fit in, but it wasn't working. The other was Marlon, an improv character.

He always took everything seriously, and it actually made me laugh because when others were serious, he always kept to character like he was being paid. And the last of them was Kat, an improv comedy teacher trying to find herself where she belonged while her friends all made it big.

There's this corrupt officer who pissed off some bad gangs and is trying to get their money back and also use the rest as retirement. So he comes up with the idea of working with Kat and also asks her to pick two more people who can work with her; what she didn't know was that the detective was only using them.

So their first task was to just buy cigarettes, which was supposed to lead to something else for the cop, but they took things a bit far and outdid it, but I was impressed. So they ended up working with the cop to bring down a big gang. Because of how seriously they took the improv, the police thought they were the head of a big organization and wanted to take them down.

Kat, known as Bonnie, was beauty and brains; Marlon, known as Roach, was the muscle; and Hugh was the squire. My favorite of them was Roach, probably because he took his role seriously and was funny.

When others were back to reality, he was in character. Bonnie, Roach, and the Squire helped the police through their improv, pretended to be cops, turned one of the gang leaders to their side, and put down the main BOSS.

At the end, Kat opened an improv class and was getting more students, Hugh opened his own bar and was his own boss, while Roach caught a big acting role, which he had been aiming for.
