Dracula: The Untold Story

How are you all movie and TV series lovers? I hope you are all doing well, welcome to my post, this time I want to share a little review and opinion about a movie that left its mark on me from the first moment I saw it and I consider it a tremendous gem for the evolution of the character of Dracula, I am talking about the movie "Dracula: The Untold Story" I hope you like it🖤. It is a 2014 American film directed by Gary Shore and starring Luke Evans (the love of my life 😍😍), and which featured Sarah Gadon, Charles Dance, Zach McGowan and Art Parkinson among its cast.

¿Cómo están los amantes del cine y las series de televisión ? espero se encuentren muy bien, sean todos bienvenidos a mi post, en esta oportunidad quiero compartirles una pequeña reseña y opinión sobre una película que me marcó desde el primer momento en que la vi y la considero tremenda joyitas para lo que es la evolución del personaje de Drácula, estoy hablando de la película "Drácula: la historia jamás contada" espero les guste🖤. Es una película estadounidense de 2014 dirigida por Gary Shore y protagonizada por Luke Evans(el amor de mi vida 😍😍), y que contó entre su reparto con Sarah Gadon, Charles Dance, Zach McGowan y Art Parkinson.

Our story begins in Transylvania where the Ottoman Empire is the head of the entire region, the sultan has a custom and peace agreement not to invade Transylvania as long as the king gives him a thousand children to enlist in his troops together with his son in this way the sultan promises not to invade or annihilate the Transylvanian people; Vlad, prince of Transylvania is trained in the ranks as the best warrior, as the years pass and having completed his training he returns to his homeland to rule, he marries and has a son, 10 years of peace pass which are interrupted at Easter time by some Ottoman soldiers who go to look for the taxes that the people have to pay along with the order to take a thousand children and Vlad's son.

Nuestra historia comienza en Transilvania donde el imperio otomano es el jefe de toda la región, el sultán tiene como costumbre y acuerdo de paz no invadir Transilvania siempre y cuando el rey le dé mil niños para que se alisten a sus tropas juntos con su hijo varón de esta forma el sultán promete no invadir ni aniquilar al pueblo Transilvano; Vlad, príncipe de Transilvania se forma en las filas como el mejor guerrero, al pasar los años y haber completado su entrenamiento vuelve a su tierra natal para gobernar, se casa y tiene un hijo pasan 10 años de paz los cuales son interrumpidos en la época de pascua por unos soldados otomanos los cuales van a buscar los impuestos que tiene que pagar el pueblo junto con la orden de llevarse a mil niños y al hijo de Vlad.

Faced with this situation, our Dracula has no choice but to surrender and give up his son, however, he takes willpower and regrets that decision, killing the guards who come for his son and taking his wife and family to the castle where the Ottoman forces do not take long to arrive and bomb the town, in desperation, Vlad goes to the mountain of the broken fang because there hides a creature with supernatural and cursed powers, a Nosferatu (Prime vampire) the one who trusted and was betrayed, Vlad talks to him and he offers him a deal that he drinks his blood and if he resists the thirst for human blood for three days he will return to his normal form in this way he will have saved his people and protected his family but if he drinks human blood he will remain in that form forever and will be his henchman for all eternity, to which Vlad accepts and takes his blood hours later he wakes up in a river and realizes the powers he has super strength, acute hearing, speed controls the night and its creatures, while adapting to his new form He hears that they are bombing the castle and runs to face the Ottomans, winning the first battle, however the joy does not last long and the sultan realizes what has happened and sends all his troops to completely destroy Transylvania. Vlad, along with his people and family, goes to take refuge in a temple of the monks near the mountains.

Ante esta situación nuestro Drácula no tiene más remedio que rendirse y entregar a su hijo sin embargo toma fuerza de voluntad y se arrepiente de dicha decisión asesinando a los guardias que vienen por su hijo y sacando a su esposa y familia para el castillo en donde las fuerzas otomanas no tardan mucho en llegar y bombardean el pueblo, ante la desesperación, Vlad va hacia la montaña del colmillo roto ya que allí se esconde una criatura con poderes sobrenaturales y malditos, un Nosferatu ( Prime vampiro )aquel que confió y fue traicionado, Vlad habla con él y este le ofrece un trato que él beba su sangre y si resiste la sed de sangre humana por tres días volverá su forma normal de esta manera habrá salvado a su pueblo y protegido a su familia pero si bebe sangre humana se quedará en esa forma para siempre y será por toda la eternidad su secuaz, a lo que Vlad acepta y toma su sangre horas después despierta en un río y se da cuenta de los poderes que tiene súper fuerza, oído agudo, velocidad controla la anoche y sus criaturas, mientras se adapta a su nueva forma escucha que están bombardeando el castillo y corre para enfrentar a los otomanos ganando la primera batalla sin embargo la alegría no dura mucho y el sultán se da cuenta de lo sucedido y envía todas sus tropas a destruir por completo a Transilvania, Vlad junto con su pueblo y familia se van a refugiarse a un templos de los monjes cercanos a las montaña.

They manage to arrive, however, the enemy forces are close to the monastery taking them by surprise, killing their people, kidnapping their son and murdering his wife who on her deathbed asks Vlad to drink her blood to complete her transformation and thus be able to defeat the Ottomans and save her son, to which he agrees and ends up taking her life. Upon reaching what remains of the monastery he finds all its people bleeding and dying to which he offers revenge by turning them into vampires and destroying the entire Ottoman Empire, Vlad confronts the sultan and annihilates him saving his son but now the new threat are the vampires rebelling against Vlad, blaming him for the tragedy of Transylvania by not having given his son to the Ottomans fortunately one of the few survivors arrives, a group of Christian monks, who offer to take his son and raise him to be safe, Vlad agrees saying goodbye to his little one and throwing him with the monks who quickly leave the place, as a last act of love towards his wife and fulfilling his promise to keep his little one safe, Vlad frees the sky from darkness and with the light of day all the vampires are annihilated along with him.

Logran llegar, no obstante, las fuerzas enemigas están cerca del monasterio tomandolos por sorpresa asesinando a su pueblo, secuestrando a su hijo y asesinando a su esposa quien en su lecho de muerta pide a Vlad beber su sangre para terminar su transformación y poder así derrotar a los otomanos y salvar a su hijo a lo cual é accede y la termina de arrancarle la vida. Al llegar a lo que queda del monasterio se encuentra toda su gente desangrada y muriendo a lo cual les ofrece venganza convirtiéndolos en vampiros y arrasando con todo el imperio otomano , Vlad se enfrenta al sultán y lo aniquila salvando a su hijo pero ahora la nueva amenaza son los vampiros rebelándose contra Vlad, culpandolo de la tragedia de Transilvania al no haber entregado a su hijo a los otomanos afortunadamente llega uno de los pocos sobrevivientes,un grupo de monjes cristianos, los cuales le ofrecen llevarse a su hijo y criarlo para que esté a salvo, Vlad accede despidiéndose de su pequeño y arronjandolo con los monjes quienes se van rápidamente del lugar, como último acto de amor hacia su esposa y cumpliendo su promesa de mantener a su pequeño a salvo, Vlad libera el cielo de la oscuridad y con la luz del día todos los vampiros son aniquilados junto con él.

This film is one of the few that show a reunion between Dracula and his wife in the 2000s, implying that there may be a sequel starring the vampire who turned Vlad. For me, this work of art is a gem that combines historical elements such as the iconic character "Vlad the Impaler" with the fantasy and essence of the character of Dracula, where the combination of time, setting and development does not feel forced, apart from capturing the essence of what Dracula is; A man who feels betrayed by his God and who in desperation joins the shadows of darkness and even with all the power he possesses, he cannot prevent the tragic end of his beloved, obtaining a thirst for revenge tormented by nostalgia for yesterday and the desperation of not having the love of his life with him, thus sacrificing his people for her. Dracula is a tragic, dramatic, and above all beautiful romance, where it's darkness vs. light
Good vs. evil
Hope vs. Despair

And in all the universes of the character's franchise, tragedy haunts him, showing what a mortal is capable of for love 🖤🥀.

Está película es una de las pocas que muestran un reencuentro entre Drácula y su esposa en la época de los 2000, dando a entender que puede haber una segunda parte con protagonista al vampiro que convirtió a Vlad. Para mí está obra de arte es una joya que combina elementos históricos como lo es el icónico personaje "Vlad el empalador" conjunto con la fantasia y esencia del personaje de Drácula, dónde la combinación de época, escenario y desarrollo no se siente forzada, a parte de capturar la esencia de lo que es Drácula; Un hombre que se siente traicionado por su Dios y que en la desesperación se una a la penumbra de la oscuridad y aún tendiendo todo el poder que posee no puede evitar el trágico final de su amada, obteniendo una sed de venganza atormentando por la nostalgia del ayer y la desesperación de no tener al amor de vida consigo, sacrificando así a su gente por ella. Drácula es un romance trágico, dramático y sobre todo hermoso, en dónde es la oscuridad vs la luz

Y en todos los universos de la Franquicia del personaje, la tragedia lo persigue, mostrando lo que es capaz de hacer un mortal por amor 🖤🥀.
