Marie-Antoinette: The Girl Forced to Be Queen (🇪🇸 | 🇺🇸)

  Saludos Cinéfilos de #CineTV. Hace poco me animé a ver un film histórico sobre una Reina a la cual muchos odiaron durante su reinado. Y es que para mí, la historia de María Antonieta es una historia icónica que tiene muchísima tela por cortar y la verdad es que no me canso de ver cada film, serie o película así sea animada de esta Mujer que marcó un antes y un después en la historia de Francia.

  Y es que esta chica se le acusa de haber sido una derrochadora compulsiva y exagerada al darse sus buenos gustos para vivir una vida repleta de lujos, como Dios manda. Tanto que ella, según las historias que han contado de esta, siempre afirmaba que fue elegida por Dios para gobernar a Francia al lado de su esposo.

  Cabe destacar que ya antes había visto este film y quise volverlo a ver porque me resulta un clásico del cine. La actuación de Kirsten Dunst simplemente estuvo majestuosa de principio a fin, ella en casi todas las escenas decía mucho con la mirada y esto es algo difícil de lograr.

  Su actuación más la dirección de Sofia Coppola fue como ver una obra maestra en proceso pintada por Leonardo da Vinci, dando como resultado, a mi parecer una película que hoy por hoy la considero un clásico de clásicos, ya que tiene unas cuantas escenas memorables en ella, que fueron acompañadas por temas musicales icónicos.

  Pero volviendo al tema de la Reina Adolescente, debo destacar que más que una chica incomprendida fue alguien que estuvo siempre obligada a cumplir con su deber entre Austria y Francia. Con esto no pretendo justificar su comportamiento, pero si quiero expresar lo que entendí al ver este film luego de unos cuantos años.

  Esta chica tuvo que casarse a la temprana edad de los 14 años, etapa en la que es casi seguro que ni siquiera se había desarrollado y mucho menos con la presión que ya imponían sobre ella los soberanos de Austria. Así que imagínate primero tener que ir a un país que nunca en tu vida has visto para casarte con alguien que no conoces y que una vez que te vallas, nunca más volverás a ver tu tierra natal ni tu familia.

  Aparte tener que ajustarte a una nueva cultura completamente diferente, incluyendo un nuevo idioma y soportar cuantas críticas, habladurías, chismes, susurros, miradas pesadas a todas horas y ni hablar de la tan indeseada discriminación por ser alguien extranjero.

  Y no sólo eso, sino agregarle la presión constante por parte de tu madre, quien te exige que te embaraces lo más pronto posible cuando apenas era casi una niña y para completar le toca como esposo un hombre que ni la mira, ni le habla ni quiere tener relaciones íntimas con ella en ningún momento.

  Ver el empeño e interés que esta joven mujer le puso desde que llegó a una tierra desconocida, estando y sintiéndose totalmente sola, no la culpo por querer derrochar dinero como loca y tratar de llenar ese vacío profundo que sentía en su corazón al no obtener la atención desea y esperada por parte de su esposo y de Francia.

  Porque ella no sufrió solamente el rechazo dentro de Versalles, sino que también fue rechazada por el pueblo de Francia y ella pues simplemente dio lo mismo que le dieron durante la temprana edad de sus 14 años, además de insistirle que ella era la soberana y la mujer más especial del mundo por ser Reina de Francia, a cualquiera en algún momento se le suben los humos y el ego y hace desastres de manera egoísta.

  Y bueno, antes de armar este post quise investigar un poco algunas fuentes externas dentro del vasto mundo del internet para corroborar el por qué exactamente fue tan odiada María Antonieta y llegué a la conclusión que fueron unos cuantos factores que se juntaron, llevando al hecho extremista de que le cortaran la cabeza.

  Y es que su vida cargada de lujos y su derroche monetario fue lo mínimo que esta mujer hizo para ganar el odio de Francia, en sí se debió fue porque siempre la vieron como extranjera, una intrusa que vino a usurpar el lugar de reina como si fuese una vil espía y por supuesto, los medios de comunicación en aquel entonces, simplemente le echaron leña al fuego. Pero en fin, esta película está tan bien hecha que de mi parte le doy sus bien merecidas:

Greetings #CineTV Cinephiles. I recently decided to watch a historical film about a Queen that many hated during her reign. And for me, the story of Marie Antoinette is an iconic story that has a lot of fabric to cut and the truth is that I never get tired of watching any film, series or movie, even animated, about this woman who marked a before and after in the history of France.

This girl is accused of being a compulsive and exaggerated spendthrift. God gave her good taste to live a life full of luxuries, as God commands. So much so that, according to the stories that have been told about her, she always claimed that she was chosen by God to rule France at her husband's side.

It should be noted that I had seen this film before, and I wanted to see it again because I find it a classic movie. The performance of Kirsten Dunst was simply majestic from beginning to end, she in almost every scene said a lot with her eyes and this is something difficult to achieve.

Her performance plus the direction of Sofia Coppola was like watching a masterpiece in process painted by Leonardo da Vinci, resulting in my opinion in a movie that today I consider a classic of classics, as it has a few memorable scenes in it, which were accompanied by iconic musical themes.

But returning to the subject of the Teen Queen, I must emphasize that more than a misunderstood girl, she was someone who was always obliged to do her duty between Austria and France. With this, I do not intend to justify her behavior, but I do want to express what I understood when I watched this film after a few years.

This girl had to marry at the early age of 14, a stage at which she almost certainly had not even developed, let alone with the pressure already imposed on her by the rulers of Austria. So imagine first having to go to a country you have never seen in your life to marry someone you don't know, and that once you leave, you will never see your homeland or your family again.

Besides having to adjust to a completely different culture, including a new language and enduring all the criticism, gossip, gossip, whispering, heavy stares at all times, and not to mention the unwanted discrimination for being a foreigner.

And not only that, but add to that the constant pressure from your mother, who demands that you get pregnant as soon as possible when she was just a little girl, and to top it all off, she gets a man as a husband who neither looks at her, nor talks to her, nor wants to have intimate relations with her at any time.

Seeing the commitment and interest that this young woman put into it since she arrived in an unknown land, being and feeling alone, I do not blame her for wanting to waste money like crazy and trying to fill that deep emptiness she felt in her heart by not getting the desired and expected attention from her husband and France.

Because she not only suffered the rejection inside Versailles, but she was also rejected by the people of France and she simply gave the same as she was given during the early age of her 14 years, besides insisting that she was the sovereign and the most special woman in the world for being Queen of France, anyone at some point gets a little bit egotistical and selfishly makes disasters.

And well, before putting together this post, I wanted to investigate some external sources within the vast world of the internet to corroborate why exactly she was so hated María Antonieta and I concluded that there were a few factors that came together, leading to the extremist fact that her head was cut off.

And the fact is that her life full of luxuries and her monetary waste was the least that this woman did to earn the hatred of France, in fact it was because she was always seen as a foreigner, an intruder who came to usurp the place of queen as if she was a vile spy and of course, the media at that time, simply added fuel to the fire. But anyway, this movie is so well made that I give it its due:
