Tangled: Love, Adventure and Golden hair

Smell the grass the dirt just like I dreamed they be
Feel that summer breeze, the way it's calling me
And for the first time ever I'm completely free.....

These were the exact words of Rapunzel the moment she stepped out of her tower for the first time. See Rapunzel was not always tucked away, hidden in an isolated tower.... Oooh she was so much more and was supposed to enjoy a life of royalty but had it all stolen from her. So sit back and relax while I take you all on a ride through the story of a girl with golden hair.

In the kingdom of Corona lived an old woman by the name of Gothel who discovered a magical flower created by a droplet from the sun . These flowers possess special properties capable of healing every sickness but Gothel intends to keep it hidden from the entire kingdom as it is also the cause of her eternal youth. As fate would have it the queen who is pregnant falls ill and the only thing that can cure her is the very flower. After a few days of searching, the guards discover the flower, takes it to the sick queen which instantly cures her and ensured by her safe delivery. Angered by this, Gothel steals the baby from the palace and decides to raise the child as her own because the baby girl now has the power of the flower in her hair. The king, the queen and the entire kingdom launched into a frenzy searching for but were unsuccessful so every year on the child's birthday, candle lanterns are lit to remember her.
Now a few days away from being 18, Rapunzel lives her life locked up in a tower wishing to see the outside world but her supposed mother (Gothel) keeps preventing her with threats of the dangers of the outside world.

Flynn Rider a renowned thief, sneaks into the palace with two accomplices, steals the princess's crown and storms off with the palace guard in hot pursuit. He betrays his partners causing their capture, after evading the men hot on his trail, he accidentally stumbled on the hidden castle and decides to hide inside until his pursuers are long gone.
Rapunzel knocks him out cold with a frying pan the moment he steps inside and after a moment of back and forth bantering she agrees to return the crown he stole in exchange for him taking her out to see the lanterns that light up the sky only on her birthday.

Flynn Rider concurs to the deal but choices to make the journey as difficult as possible whilst also avoiding the palace guards and Maximus- a horse hellbent on stopping Flynn.

After a series of adventure and mishaps, Flynn ( who later reveals that his real name is Eugene) successfully takes her to see the lanterns but both of them end up falling in love all to the disapproval of Gothel who ends up manipulating the whole situation to have Eugene arrested and Rapunzel going back to her thinking Eugene was only interested in the crown and not her.

Due to his numerous crimes, Eugene is sentenced to death by beheading but before he is taken to the location of his death, he is rescued by Maximus and a band of thieves he befriends in the course of his adventure with Rapunzel. Meanwhile back in the tower, Rapunzel puts 2&2 together leading her to the conclusion that she was the stolen princess the entire kingdom was searching for.

She confronts Gothel about it, choosing to leave for her real family but Gothel was not having any of that and decides to forcefully disappears with her treasure.
Eugene rushes in save her but is seriously stabbed by Gothel. Rapunzel begs to use her hair to heal him and in exchange she would willingly go with her. As she is about reciting the magic word for her hair to glow, Eugene cuts her hair off ending all its magical properties. This instantly kills Gothel, turning her to dust and leaving Eugene without any form of help for his injury. Plot armor plays it's part though and the tears of princess of Rapunzel ends up healing him.

The couple goes to the palace to show the royal family that the lost princes is back and with a doubt they see the resemblance and takes her back into the family. All's well that ends well, Eugene gives up stealing and after a couple of proposals they both end up happily ever after. The end.
