Während in Deutschland die Infrastruktur verfällt, Brücken einstürzen und Jahre lang nicht mehr aufgebaut werden, hat Warschau eine neue 452 Meter lange Brücke für Fußgänger und Radfahrer über den Vistula-Fluß errichtet. Der Bau wurde einen Monat früher fertig als veranschlagt und 2024 eröffnet.

While infrastructure in Germany is falling into disrepair, bridges are collapsing and remain unrepaired for years, Warsaw has built a new 452-meter long bridge for pedestrians and cyclists across the Vistula river. Construction was completed a month ahead of schedule and the bridge opened in 2024.

The bridge is both simple and functional. Nothing fancy. Seems better that way.
