Tuna stuffed cucumber for summer meals // Concombre farci au thon pour l'été [EN/FR]

Here in the north of France, the weather is nice and warm right now! Summer is just around the corner (starting June 21st). ☀️

And when it's hot, we want fresh food! That's great, because I found a great little recipe to try: tuna-stuffed cucumber!

Have you heard of it? 😊

It's super quick to prepare since it doesn't require any cooking, it's just a combination of ingredients! It's fresh, crunchy, and flavorful. In short, we enjoyed it again. 😋

Here's the recipe for 4 pieces 👇

Ingredients

• 1 cucumber;
• 1 can of flaked tuna;
• 75 grams of cream cheese spread;
• 1 pinch of cayenne pepper (optional);
• Salt, peper.

Preparation steps

To start, I washed the cucumber, then cut it in half:

Then, I cut each part in half lengthwise. This gave me 4 pieces:

I then removed the center of the cucumber with a fork/spoon and set it aside:

In a bowl, I put the tuna:

The cream cheese:

The cayenne pepper (really not much). Incidentally, it was @genesisledger's dad who brought us this pepper from his trip to French Guiana. It's a very hot pepper, and its texture makes you want to make whole toasts with it, but I really don't recommend it. 😂

And salt and peper :

Then, I mixed everything together and made the stuffing:

I then added the stuffing to the hollow of the cucumber:

And I added a few sesame seeds for decoration!

And voilà, in just a few minutes, the stuffed cucumber is ready to eat! 😋

It's super fresh, it's very good!

Et quand il fait chaud, on a envie de manger du frais ! Cela tombe bien, j’ai trouvé une petite recette bien sympathique à tester : le concombre farci au thon !

C’est ultra rapide à préparer puisque cela ne demande pas de cuisson, c’est seulement de l’assemblage d’aliments ! C’est frais, c’est croquant et ça a du goût. Bref, on s’est encore régalés. 😋

Voici la recette pour 4 morceaux 👇

Les ingrédients

• 1 concombre ;
• 1 boîte de thon en miette ;
• 75 grammes de fromage frais à tartiner ;
• 1 pointe de piment de Cayenne (facultatif) ;
• Sel, poivre.

Les étapes de préparation

Pour commencer, j’ai lavé le concombre, puis je l’ai coupé en 2 :

Puis, j’ai coupé chaque partie en 2 dans la longueur. Cela me donne 4 morceaux :

J’ai ensuite enlevé le centre du concombre avec une fourchette / cuillère et je l’ai mise de côté :

Dans un bol, j’ai mis le thon :

Le fromage frais :

Le piment de Cayenne (vraiment pas beaucoup). D’ailleurs, pour l’anecdote, c’est le papa de @genesisledger qui nous a ramené ce piment de son voyage en Guyane. C’est un piment très fort et sa texture donne très envie d’en faire des tartines entières, mais je vous le conseille vraiment pas. 😂

Et un peu de sel et de poivre :

Puis, j’ai mélangé le tout et j’ai obtenu la farce :

J’ai ensuite ajouté la farce dans le creux du concombre :

Et j'ai ajouté un peu de graines de sésame pour la décoration :

Et voilà, en quelques minutes, le concombre farci est prêt à être dégusté ! 😋

C’est super frais, c’est très bon !
