Mushroom Stroganoff // Stroganoff de champignons [EN/FR]

A few weeks ago, @genesisledger came across a recipe for vegetarian Stroganoff on Pinterest. And ever since, he hasn't stopped asking me: "When are we going to try it?" đ€Ł
Well, here it is!
Stroganoff is a Russian meat-based dish, but it's possible to vary it and replace the meat. That's what we did! đ
It's a very tasty dish, which is quite simple and quick to prepare. If you have 25 minutes to spare, and you like mushrooms, then I highly recommend you try this recipe. đ
Anyway, here's the recipe for 2 to 3 people đ
Ingredients

- 300 grams of mushrooms;
- 1 onion;
- 2 garlic cloves;
- 20 cl crĂšme fraĂźche;
- 20 cl vegetable broth;
- 1 tablespoon mustard;
- 1 tablespoon flour;
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon olive oil;
- 1 tablespoon butter;
- 120 grams rice.
Preparation steps
I started by peeling and chopping the onion (without crying đ€Ł):



Then, I chopped the garlic into small pieces:


Next, in a pan, I added a tablespoon of olive oil and a tablespoon of butter and heated:



I added the onions and let them cook until translucent (about 5 minutes):

I washed and chopped the mushrooms:

I let them cook for about 5 to 7 minutes:


I also cooked the rice in boiling water during this time.
And then, I added 1 tablespoon of flour over the mushrooms; sprinkle well and mix well. I let it cook for about 1 to 2 minutes:



Then, I added the vegetable broth, little by little, stirring to avoid lumps:

I served it in soup plates with regular rice. But if you have brown rice, it's even better! đ
This dish is best served piping hot (it's quite fun to make this dish in 30-degree heat đ€Ł), it's really delicious. The sauce is creamy, and it goes really well with the rice. I think next time, I'll also add some pan-fried cauliflower đ

Bref, voici la recette pour 2 / 3 personnes đ
Les ingrédients

- 300 grammes de champignons ;
- 1 oignon ;
- 2 gousses dâail ;

- 1 cuillĂšre Ă soupe de moutarde ;
- 1 cuillĂšre Ă soupe de farine ;

- 1 cuillĂšre Ă soupe de beurre ;
- 120 grammes de riz.
Les étapes de préparation
Jâai commencĂ© par Ă©plucher et dĂ©couper lâoignon (sans pleurer đ€Ł) :



Puis, jâai dĂ©coupĂ© lâail en petits morceaux :


Ensuite, dans une poĂȘle, jâai ajoutĂ© une cuillĂšre Ă soupe dâhuile dâolive et une cuillĂšre Ă soupe de beurre et jâai fait chauffer :



Jâai ajoutĂ© les oignons et je les ai laissĂ© cuire jusquâĂ ce quâils deviennent translucides (environ 5 minutes) :

Ensuite, jâai ajoutĂ© lâail et jâai laissĂ© cuire environ 1 minute :


Jâai lavĂ© et dĂ©coupĂ© les champignons :

Et je les ai ajoutĂ©s dans la poĂȘle :

Jâai Ă©galement fait cuire le riz dans lâeau bouillante pendant ce temps-lĂ .
Et ensuite, jâai ajoutĂ© 1 cuillĂšre Ă soupe de farine sur les champignons, il faut bien saupoudrer et bien mĂ©langer. Jâai laissĂ© cuire environ 1 Ă 2 minutes :



Puis, jâai ajoutĂ© le bouillon de lĂ©gume, petit Ă petit, en remuant pour Ă©viter les grumeaux :



Jâai ajoutĂ© la crĂšme fraĂźche :


La moutarde :

Le paprika :


Le sel et le poivre :

Et jâai laissĂ© mijoter encore 3 minutes.
Voilà le résultat :



Jâai servi dans des assiettes creuses, avec du riz classique. Mais, si vous avez du riz complet, câest encore meilleur ! đ
Câest un plat qui se mange trĂšs chaud (plutĂŽt marrant de faire ce plat par 30 degrĂ©s đ€Ł), câest vraiment super bon. La sauce est crĂ©meuse, et ça se marie super bien avec le riz. Je pense que la prochaine fois, jâajouterai aussi du chou-fleur poĂȘlĂ© đ
