A fulfilled Life

What's a fulfilled Life? The answer to this question is subjective. Our desires are different and so are the things we define as fulfilled. A farmer who had gathered his ban with grain, woke up one morning, his heart filled with joy boasted of his fulfillment seeing the fruit of his harvest. To him, that was all he desired, but to another may be seeing himself raise children, and another having wealth. But looking at Abraham Maslow's hierarchy of need, one would argue that no one is truly fulfilled, because men never reach the height of self actualization.

However, I believe people find fulfillment but this only happens in their older age. No one can really boast of fulfillment in their younger age and that's because they still have a lot of desires that's unfulfilled, so they accomplish milestones that make them glad of progress and growth but fulfillment comes in our older age when we watch all our labour bearing good fruits. Like an old man surrounded by children and grandchildren who are living the kind of life that makes him proud, or an old man who isn't having a financial crisis at a time when he can't help himself.

Life begins at 40, and that's because at this point one has learned from his mistakes, learned to make better decisions, and is heading toward fulfillment. If at this age one still struggles, bitterness and regret is seen written on their countenance. Many wise men would say the beginning of a thing doesn't matter but the end, and this is because glory and every beauty of one's existence lies at the end and not the beginning. According to me, I'm breaking milestones and finding peace along the way, but only my old age would determine if I am fulfilled.

Different strokes for different folks. Fulfilment is seen from individuals point of view based on their dreams

Interesting so basically time also has an important role in living a fulfilled life.

Life begins at 40, and that's because at this point one has learned from his mistakes, learned to make better decisions, and is heading toward fulfillment.

That's so unexpected. People usually think their life is ending at that age, which is why they often have midlife crises. But I quite like your point of view, and it makes a lot of sense. At that age, we already have 40 years of experience and, hopefully, we have a little more wisdom to make better decisions.
