Injuries Hits Barcelona

Good day, everyone, and welcome to my blog. It has been reported by FC Barcelona's official X account that Joan Garcia and Raphinha have picked up an injury and will be out for some weeks. Raphinha will be out for about three weeks, so he will be missing the Champions League match against PSG, which is scheduled to happen in the first week of next month, but hopefully, he will return before the 26th of October, which is when the first El Clásico match of the season will be played.

In Joan Garcia's case, he will be out for about six weeks, which means he will be missing the PSG match and also the El Clásico next month, which is a bummer for the squad. There is no doubt that Joan Garcia has had a major impact on the team since the start of the new season, and I have to say he is the best signing Barcelona has made for a long time now. Joan Gracia made a mistake in yesterday's match, which led to a goal, and I am already seeing rival fans trolling, which is bound to happen, but it won't change the fact that he has been on top form this season.

Joan Garcia's absence from the El Clásico match next month is a big blow in my opinion. Wojciech Szczesny is another option on the bench and will probably be playing for the rest of the coming six to seven weeks until Joan Garcia returns to the team. Joan Garcia at the goalpost has given the fans a sense of assurance that he will hold it up to the very end of the match which he has been doing so far and not to throw Tek under the bus he didn't rise to the challenge when needed the most and an example will be the Inter Milan game in the Champions League last season.

It's still hard to move past that match, as I still wonder if Barcelona would have won the Champions League if they had made the final last season. Szczesny has to be at a top level the next few weeks for the team as Hansi Flick will be counting on him to showcase his quality. Hopefully, Joan Garcia returns to the team and continues giving out good performances each week. It just pains me that he will be missing the El Clásico, which would be a good opportunity for him to prove doubts wrong about his quality in front of the goal.

Back to Raphinha, since the Brazilian is out and Lamine Yamal yet to return from injury, Hansi Flick will have to utilise Ferran Torres as a winger for the main time until Yamal returns and we will be seeing Roony Bardghji frequently getting minutes on the pitch.
