Witness Townhall, Wed. March 18 at 12pm Eastern

It’s almost time for the third Witness Townhall of 2026 taking place in in the official Hive discord.

It will take place on Wednesday February 18th at 12pm ET in the official Hive Discord. That would be 4pm UTC

It was be an opportunity to meet the Witnesses:

• find out what they do on the chain
• what projects are important to them
• how they feel about topics of interest on the chain
• for them to share about upcoming developments or possible developments

At the Townhall on February 19th it was great to see just over a dozen Witnesses present. Those who participated were given opportunity to weigh in on their opinions about factors that could be influencing the price of Hive. Not everyone agreed but the conversation was respectful.

I had a tech issue with the recording, so I can’t share that with you. Will try to do better at this Townhall.

By hearing the Witnesses, community members get a sense of who the Witnesses are and can make better informed voting decisions.

The townhall is meant to be a two way discussion between Witnesses and the rest of the community. The text is monitored for people to be able to put questions and concerns to raise.

I’m your host for the event. For those who don’t know me, I’ve been on Hive since August 2016. I host the long running Pimp Your Post Thursday (PYPT) and am one of the co-hosts on the Hive Thrive show held each Tuesday. On the legacy chain I hosted a monthly Witness Chat, so this is returning to that format on Hive.

It doesn’t matter if you’re new to Hive or been here forever, your vote counts. So come on out and listen in, ask questions and learn.
