Hard work Vs Smart work

Greetings!

The holy scripture says, “there should be no food for a lazy man.” so, to work is good as this would help us to make ends meet and put food on our table.

However, while working, we must know that there's a big difference between working hard and working smart. Not only that, we must also know there's a place of luck and favour on anything we do.

What this means is that working hard alone may not solve all the problems of life. In fact, if working hard is not combined with anything working smart and luck, one may take eternity to reach his or her destination.

So, for this reason, one must endeavor to combine working hard with smartness and luck for one's journey to be faster than expected. I have seen people working so hard in life but without result, though, there's what we call dignity of labour, and I'm not talking against hard work, only that I want people to know that working hard is not enough if not combined with smartness and luck.

Although, the luck or favour factor might be beyond the reach of every individual, but with prayer and faith, that might also be achieved.

It's not that I'm just saying this, but with the experience I have gathered so far, I think I'm in the best position to share with us my little experience about working hard and working smart, plus the role and place of favour and luck in the settings of human life.

Years back, what I was known for is hard work. In fact, one of those people I was working for as a laborer once said, if you decided not to do any work again in your life, the one you've done is enough. When this man said this, I was only 18years, but because of my situation back where I had no helper, I worked myself out without remedy. Then, I was a jack of all manual work.

I was the one that you will see digging well and soak away today and by tomorrow you will see me carrying or loading cement and so on. That's what I was known for. And while doing this, I could not even point out one great thing that was done by me in those days.

But when I got to know that hard work alone cannot do it, I decided to combine my hard working skills with working smart and this has really paid off for me real well.

Also, we pray for luck and mercy, things are really coming out fine for me. One of those ways of working smart, introduced to me by a friend @kingsleyy, is what I'm doing now, which is writing and posting on the Hive blockchain. Ever since I have been introduced to this platform, I have known peace and not only that, I have got to know more people through our engagement and also making money through my write ups and posting on the Hive blockchain and with luck on my side, I am not where I used to be as I have moved far ahead of where I used to be.

In conclusion, anyone can work smart as well, just that you need to be consistent most especially while working smart on the Hive blockchain so as to exploit the platform via your phone or other gadgets you are using for your posting.
