The evolution of man from one era to another.

Hello, everyone.

I welcome you to my blog. Man is insatiable, and the insatiability of man is what has brought us this far. Picture a scenario where man was satisfied with living in the Stone Age era. Do you think we would have been exposed to this much technology that we have today? If man were satiable, we would still be living in the Stone Age era with very little development based on the fact that we are comfortable with what we have and don't want more. Our insatiability is what has pushed us to evolve from one era to another. It might not have been easy, but man made all the sacrifices needed just to ensure his needs were met.

Once one need is met, another comes up, and man needs to get to work again in order to satisfy his new needs. Man's need is a continuous cycle and never ends, though it is good in a way as it has pushed and brought us this far. Sometimes it gives room for greed and selfishness and, in a way, starts to affect the human race wrongly. Man's evolution was fully fueled by his insatiability. Looking back at how far we have come, we come to realize that before we got to where we are today, there was a lot of trial and error. Every trial that did not satisfy the need was set aside, and another trial was carried out.

The insatiability of man is what took us from one era to another. We first of all started from the Stone Age, an era where our every tool was crafted from stones, and during that time man practiced the nomadic lifestyle, hunted for survival, and did all that they could to survive the weather, no matter how harsh or cold it was, with very little at their disposal. Then we moved to the Bronze Age, an era where tools were now crafted out of bronze and the bronze was also used for trades as a means of payment, and from there a complex society started to evolve.

Then we proceeded and moved to the Iron Age, an era that came with the mass adoption of iron for toolmaking and a few advancements and adjustments in tools that helped agricultural productivity. Every era played a role in pushing us further and laid a foundation for whatever we have today. All these eras put together are what helped the era that followed them, as every era tried to correct and do what the era before them could not do.

Currently we are in a digital age, an age where we have access to computers, artificial intelligence, and robots that have taken the burden off man and are now used to overcome our every task, no matter how simple or hard. Robots, artificial intelligence, and computers overcome them like it's nothing. I doubt if the evolution of man ends here because there will be more in the future.
