Technology gave us options.

I welcome you to my blog. One thing technology and its advancement offered us in abundance is options. Those days we had only one way of doing things, and to get things done, you either followed the pattern or you didn't get the things done at all. Before the advancement of technology and the many options that came with it, humans had little or no choice; everybody had to follow a similar pattern, and there was no other option other than to do it how others were doing it.

Technology changed all of that, and today we are no longer forced to follow a single pattern or do something in a manner or pattern that we do not want or consider stressful. Before technology we had no option other than to follow the only route or way to get things done, but with technology today we have lots and lots of options to choose from on how we want to get things done. During the time of our forefathers, they depended on either animals for transport or trekking, but technology gave us multiple choices. If you don't want a motorcycle, you can go with a bicycle, a car, a train, an airplane, a helicopter, or even a jet.

Also in academics, when I told my mom I was done writing my final year project from chapters 1-3 in the space of 1 week and in the comfort of my room, she shouted that during their time that would have taken at least 3 weeks if not one month, as you only have the library as your only source and will only work on your project on the days that the library is open, and when the staff leaves, you are also forced to leave and return the next day whether you are done or not.

Today, thanks to technology, we can easily access all the information we need online and from the comfort of our rooms, and we are not required to visit any library. We can work on our research work whenever we want and not only when the librarian is around or allows us to. Technology has also gone the extra mile just to give us many options. With the existence of artificial intelligence, we don't even need to do lots and lots of research anymore, as all we need to do is give instructions to artificial intelligence, and the result after that will leave you amazed.

Technology took away stress by giving us options. Once you find overcoming a particular task too stressful, unlike those days, today, with the help of technology, there is always an alternative, an alternative that is easier and less stressful, and you get to overcome almost any and every task in a jiffy.
