The Invisi-cloak To The Rescue

Fashion was never something I enjoyed as a kid, largely because I was super shy growing up. Getting new clothes was something I always looked forward to back then but was always terrified to put them on in public places as I would always feel overdressed making me uncomfortable as the thought of being under the watchful eyes of the public made me uneasy. I slowly gained a little bit of confidence with time, one that became a possibility fostered by adolescence and peer pressure.

Back in high school, all the boys wanted to mimic the looks of their favorite artistes going as far as buying whatever they see them wear on their music videos and I too was no different. As a kid who had no money to buy the clothes I saw my favs wearing on television, I saved up every penny that came into my possession including my Lunch allowance for school. Nevertheless even with all my efforts I was never really able to buy trending clothes because by the time I had saved up enough money to buy them, they were already out of style but that never stopped me from rocking them though. I don't brag about being a fashionista but I can boldly say "I have enough attire to wear for different occasions or weather condition".

Concurring to the fact that my hunger for more clothes might never be satiated, if I ever get the opportunity to acquire an invisible cloak to stack up my wardrobe, I would jump on this life changing gift in a heartbeat majorly for one unique reason Safety. My first encounter with invisibility was the 90s movie titled "clash of the titans" where a young demi God named Persus was given a helmet that turns him completely invisible so that he can easily sneak into certain places and carry out his mission of saving his town from an angry monster known as "the Kraken". Nigeria (my country) is currently under attack from kidnappers, terrorists and a lot more than people can even think of. There are more regular cases of people being killed, attacked or kidnapped by bandits without any form of redress for this issue making the country even unsafe to live in at this point. So if there's any chance I can get a coat that'll make me invincible anytime I want, best believe I am taking it with me anywhere I go to. Anytime I feel like the environment I am in unsafe or something odd is going on, I am putting my cloak immediately and leaving too. My major reason for choosing to take this rare cloth isn't for anything superficial, it is to protect myself from danger because just like the Great Mr Miyagi from The karate kid once said: "The best way to avoid conflict is to No be there.
