The Three Things That Make a Day Truly Worthwhile

The definition of a "perfect" day is obviously different for all. Personally , mine comprises little but meaningful things, and I could tag having that as a perfect day!

Sometimes ,we wake up to lots of pressures and uncertainties. Things might just keep unfolding in a way we never envisage , causing us stress and unusual experiences. Imagine having a day devoid of unnecessary pressures of life. That would be amazing, and one thing that could happen to me, and I will say, this day is just perfect.

Recently , I have been facing back-to-back pressures and emergency calls that give me tension and take away the peace I should enjoy and be happy with. Once these calls come in, every other thing I planned for the day will be laid aside , and I will start running around to fix things . Imagine having a peaceful day, devoid of similar dramas I have been facing lately. That could be a very perfect day for me. A day I won't sigh over the stress and pressure of life but experience unique peace of mind from morning till night—what a luxury indeed. Slow morning , no rush , no tension , no pressure , but calmness. How I crave this, but it has been what it is.

What about having a productive day? Not the one I will set out plans but thick off just one out of many. Sometimes , I am just hard on myself , seeing lots of things unattended to. Life happens, and things don't just go the way we plan them at times. Like last Tuesday , there were lots of expectations. I pushed aside other chores at home and planned on achieving something tangible that could change my financial status, but one person scattered everything with her call. I could have said, Oh yes...what a productive day, what a perfect day indeed, but it happened the way it did .

However , I wouldn't deny that sometimes I achieve more than I planned in a day. That's life for us , but overall , if I have my day quite productive without burning my time on irrelevant things , then it's a perfect day for me.

Lastly, having that moment that refreshes hubby and me could be another perfect day for me. It happens sometimes, but work life and the stress that accompanies each day usually interfere. But whenever we overcome and experience that heart-to-heart talk in the evening, chat together , stroll along the street , play around, and watch movies, awwww, it makes me happy, and of course, another day I could tag as perfect .
