Hive impact on me.

I can't brag about knowing everything happening on the Hive blockchain, but I have been interacting, posting, earning, saving, and swapping Hive for hbd and vice versa for some time now. Yet, these few things feel like a lot because this is where I had my first involvement with cryptocurrency.

When I was told about Hive, I came around to check, and it's completely different from what's happening on other platforms like Facebook, X, TikTok, and others.

I didn't have a good phone then, and it was difficult for me to be present here, but I tried to come around whenever I could, and during that time, I was able to get some money to purchase a phone, which I misplaced again. I had to wait for another phone before I could engage properly and the past few months have been beautiful.

One of the things that makes me very happy on Hive is the engagement I get on my post every time and I understand that engaging with other people will bring me engagement so I try to visit a few post daily, I intend to improve on that so that the engagement on my post can increase too.

Back on the web2 platforms, I have been very active for many years now, and I hardly get engagement on my posts there. It's just like I just dump my post there and whenever I get likes, I can predict it's either my family members or a friend. Sadly, I can't do what some ladies do there to get attention, so I just drop my pictures or videos without any expectations.

I had the same mindset coming to Hive, but I met something different because whenever I publish a post, I always get a few genuine comments, which is not bad considering the number of followers I have, and it makes me very happy. The engagement is a lot better compared to my Web 2.0 where I have many followers. I am trying to grow my followers, and it will grow with time. I just need to be active always.

The money I earn from Hive is also a huge support for me because I get to support my dad with his medication. Hive is the first place I have earned money from any social platform, and this has made me want to grow here however I can.

In the past few months, I have been active but not 100% because of my commitment offline but all that will only get better. I am learning from different members and communities at the moment, they don't hesitate to correct me and I appreciate it. I am keen on developing my Hive account too like so many people I have engaged with.

Hive has impacted me very well, and I am happy because I didn't know a platform like this existed. I don't know why the name is not everywhere, but I believe Hive will grow bigger than many web2 platforms in terms of members, because when we look at the value of Hive, it's bigger than every platform I know.
