Wrong Accusations Break The Heart.

Nobody born of a woman can say he or she likes to be wrongfully accused of even of the smallest of issues. Wrong accusations are very painful, very regrettable, hurtful and injurious to bear. Not every individual has the ability to come out from wrongful accusations, most times, the accused person had committed suicide before the real truth emerged.

I have seen it happen, someone was accused of stealing raw cassava from her co-wife's cassava farm land in a little village far away. She did all she could, explaining that she had never been to that woman's farm, talk less of uprooting her cassava crops. The accusation became turbulence, before you know it, the whole village, the whole community has heard and everyone is talking about her, some were even shouting and singing it as a song with her name. I mean, the villagers had formed both the lyrics and tune of the song with her name that she is a thief .

Many were mocking her, the village women's meeting she belonged to, ex- communicated and expelled her from their village women's meeting. Her in-laws did the same, the husband, instead of defending his own wife asked her for a divorce, the children and everyone became seriously dump founded and confused because they know she was never guilty of the accusations.

She herself was crying, telling them that she did no such thing, it was obvious that she has been a contented woman of honour, respect and integrity, a hard worker that had been capably providing for her house hold, living in peace with all and sundry in the entire neighborhood and the village as a whole.
It was surprising to those that know her closely.

Many were in between opinions thinking, could it be true that she committed this stealing crime or not, nobody really saw her, it became extremely though.
She suffered a serious abandonment by every body including her husband, but her children and close family members that totally understand who she is could not join others to insult her personality, she did every thing possible to defend herself but to no avail.
She kept praying believing and hoping God will expose the reality and fight for her broken integrity and her shattered heart.

One day, the elders of the village called for her to come and swear to prove her innocency, remember, in that village, if you lie and accuse some one and the individual gets to this oat taking point at the village square, immediately she takes it, if the accusers are lying, this fault acusser will instantly receive the punishment instead of the wrongly accused person.

This was when the wrong accuser came up in tears and very ashamed telling all that she lied against her co-wife, saying , please, "don't do it, she didn't do, she was lying, out of hatred and envy, she decided to rubish her, to tenished her image and reputations, now the elders of the village stopped her taking that oat and gave it to her co-wife instead.

That was how she became mad all through the remaining days of her entire life. It's on record in that village for life, this story is always told to whoever that wants to hear.

The lesson learned and the ugly experience are, do not accuse innocent souls, avoid hatred and envy, be at your own lane in life, stop competing with someone else, life is too short to be wasted on negative vibes.

This is my take on the topic for Day 10 prompt.

"Have you ever been wrongfully accused? How did you feel?.

Thank you for always being there for me, keep reading and responding positively. We're together.
