The Past That Pulls Me, The Future That Calls Me

Time travel is great! But having to make a choice for which time to travel to, is a dilemma for me. I've learned over the years that time is one asset that once lost can't be recovered and we all need time for everything in life. We need time to know, to grow, to heal, to fight, to win, to love. In essence, we all need time to stay alive and well.

Having to choose going back to the past or going into the future, is one I kept thinking which weighs more for me. My life have been nothing short of imperfections and lots of gratitude, with how far I've come but in all honesty, there are a lot of mistakes my past pulls me in to think of choosing the option for a reset or maybe a relive.

As much as I am tempted to want to go back to the past to make right my wrongs even if not all, to relive some memories, make better decisions or choices regarding important phases that contributed to who I am today, as much as I want to do that, I can't help but think more in the direction that everything happened for a reason.

I can't imagine how things would become if I had made other choices in the past but I'm more curious and excited to know what my life will be in the future. There is this feeling of the unknown calling me and the wonders accompanied with the belief that I do have a bright future ahead of me. The feeling is more about hope than fear.

So if I have to choose what journey through time I'll take, it will be into my future. Having the knowledge I have now to revisit my past would be great but I think it would be greater to go into the future as I believe in the power of constant improvements and change. I imagine myself being a better version that I'd love in the future.

With how my life is going, I'm very curious to see how things turn out, not just for myself but also for the people I care about. Will I have my dream job? I won't be surprised if my dream job choice have changed because one thing I priorize over my dream job is peace of mind and being able to earn increasing stable income in my own efforts.

Would I be in a great relationship with someone? I believe in the future, I should be settled down with someone I want to do the rest of my life with. Having to visit the future to see who it will be, is an exciting one for me. I would also love to see how much I've achieved over the years and the lives I've impacted, it's a part of my plan now.

Life is uncertain and the future is unknown until we live it but one thing we have is today, and the chance to create the future we want. I'd jump on the offer to visit my future but knowing it's almost impossible, the fastest way is planning and creating the future I want to be mine. It may not be easy but it's a challenge I'm willing to take.

I would love to go the past because it seems the smart move in my eyes. I think If I directly go to future, I won't be able to cope up there easily and I will be a below average person there. Even a child will be better than me in the future. But if I go back to the past, I will be the better than anyone. And I know that I am capable enough to shine my future by my own and I will go to future automatically which is just a matter of time.

Yeah, there are good reasons to visit the past or the future. That's your choice and it's cool too.

If I may choose between the two I would love to go back to the past to correct all my mistakes. Yes travelling to the future is great but I would love to correct y past mistakes so that my future will be brighter for me.

Yeah, that is a very tempting option but we never know how worse it could have been if not for decisions we took in the past, correcting them might make things turn out worse than expected too.

Visiting the past will mostly be to relive memories, especially if nothing can't be changed about what has already happened. Maybe, making peace with the past could help to live better in the present and work towards the future one wants to create. I'm also quite curious about the future, how things will pan out, surprises, twists and unexpected turns, etc.

True, the future will always have a lot to do with our past and present decisions but with unexpected twists.
