Cuando los fines de semana se convierten en días de lavado // When Weekends Become Wash Days [ESP-ENG]

Hola mis grandes amigos, feliz fin de semana a todos, ¿cómo va el fin de semana en su extremo? es realmente agitado aquí, incluso llamaría a mi sábado un día de lavado. Los fines de semana son para descansar pero cuando no tienes alternativa tienes que hacer lo necesario.

Alguien como yo, con muchas actividades entre semana, suele convertir mis fines de semana, especialmente el sábado, en un día de limpieza y lavado, en el que tengo que lavar toda la ropa que he usado durante la semana y no sólo eso, también la colcha de mi cama.

Hablando de eso, ¿cada cuanto lavas tu colcha? ¿la lavas una vez a la semana o una vez al mes?. Bueno, yo la lavo una vez a la semana porque suelo sudar mucho mientras duermo. Así que hoy he tenido que lavar mi colcha y la de mi padre, al menos déjame ser una buena hija.

Quitando la colcha de mi cama y la funda de mi almohada, descubrí que mi almohada se había roto, no era manejable en absoluto pero tuve que remendarla inmediatamente para que no se expandiera mucho más de lo que ya se había expandido.

La nube casi me hizo cambiar de idea de lavarme hoy, la lluvia había empezado a lloviznar y el viento soplaba, sólo tuve que susurrar una oración de silencio. Milagrosamente, la lluvia paró de repente y todo estaba soleado, Dios respondió a mis oraciones y el tiempo se volvió justo el que yo quería.

Necesitaba empezar a lavar inmediatamente, saqué un bol y lo llené de agua, tenía mi jabón líquido casero y ese es el jabón que usaré para lavar mi ropa. Vertí el jabón y hizo espuma como solía hacer, empapé la ropa justo dentro del agua jabonosa y la dejé reposar un rato para que se quitaran algunas manchas de grasa.

Al cabo de un rato empecé a lavarlas, las lavé dos veces y las aclaré con cuidado y procedí a secarlas en el patio trasero. Sabía con certeza que el viento no dejaría que mi ropa mojada se quedara quieta sin tirarla por el suelo y por eso tuve que conseguir inmediatamente unas pinzas para sujetarla a las batas.

No eran materiales tan pesados y estoy segura de que se secarán más rápido, procedí a lavar la demás ropa del día, gracias a Dios ya termine de lavar toda la ropa sucia, lavar nunca ha sido mi hobby en lo absoluto prefiero cocinar y limpiar. A estas alturas, si yo no lavo, nadie lo hará así que tengo que hacerlo aunque no me guste lavar.

Así es como mi día se convirtió en un día de lavado. Me alegro de haberlo hecho todo y ahora puedo disfrutar del resto del fin de semana.

Hello my great friends, happy weekend to you all, how is the weekend faring at your end? it is really hectic here, I would even call my Saturday a wash day. Weekends are meant for rest but when you do not have an alternative you've got to do the needful.

Some one like me with lots of activities during weekdays I usually make my weekends especially Saturday cleaning and washing day, where I have to wash off all the clothes I had used during the week and not just that alone, my bedspread as well.

Speaking of which, how often do you wash your bedspread? do you wash them once a week or once a month?. Oh well I do mine once every week because I tend to sweat a lot while sleeping. So today I had to wash both my bedspread and that of my father at least let me be a good daughter.

Taking off the bedspread from my bed and the pillow case from my pillow, I discovered my pillow had torn, it was not manageable at all but I had to mend it immediately so that it will not expand much more than it had already expanded.

The cloud almost changed my mind from washing today, rain had started drizzling and the wind blew, I just had to whispered a silence prayer. Miraculously, the rain stopped all of a sudden and everywhere was sunny, God answered my prayers and the weather became just the kind of weather I wanted.

I needed to start washing immediately, I brought out a bowl filled it with water, I had my home made liquid soap and that is the soap I will be using to do my laundry. I poured in the soap and it lathers as it used to, I soaked the clothes right inside the soapy water and allowed to stay for some while so that some greasy stains will be removed.

After some while I started washing them, I washed twice and I rinsed carefully and proceeded to drying them at the backyard. I knew for sure that the wind would not let my wet clothes stay still without pulling them down the floor and so I had to immediately get some pegs to hold them to the robes.

There were not so heavy materials and I am sure they will get dry quicker, I proceeded to washing other clothes for the day, thank God I am done washing all the dirty clothes, washing has never been my hobby at all I rather prefer to cook and clean. At this point, if I do not wash, no one will do them so I have to do them even though I do not enjoy washing.

That's how my day turned into a washing day. I'm glad I got everything done, and now I can enjoy the rest of my weekend.
