Saludos amigos, hace unos días les conté cómo llegaron unos muebles a la casa de mi abuela y cómo fue la decisión de renovarlos. Después de buscar varios presupuestos me quedé con el de menor costo y más accesible para mí, una vez que tomé la decisión también me endeude 😝 y le di al tapicero la primera parte de 60 $ para que comprara los materiales a usar, mientras yo fui por segunda vez al castillo tienda de telas de todo tipo a comprar la que se usaría para los muebles.

El modelo de la tela que nos gustó a mi mamá y a mí en la primera visita era el más costoso, los colores que nos llamaba la atención era el verde turquesa o azul, pero estos colores son los mismos de las cortinas de la sala y las paredes, eso se vería mucho monótono, investigue por internet y dicen que los muebles de madera o pino combinan mejor con los colores beige, marrón, gris azulado o verde pizarra y como la tela original era beige me decidí por esos colores.

En un principio el joven tapicero me hablo de telas con el costo de entre 5 $ y 7 $ el metro y para los muebles se necesitarían 12 metros, pero como soy una sifrina de barrio, los venezolanos entenderás esta expresión 🤪, me enamore de la tela más costosa en 7 $ y terminé pagando por los 12 metros, 84 dólares 🥲. Una vez tuve la tela, se la llevé el mismo día y él ya había buscado los muebles con anterioridad.

Aunque le dije que no teníamos apuros en la entrega, por motivos de liquidez, 😅 el joven sí tenía apuros por la misma razón y tapizó los muebles en 4 días 😥. Enviándome unas fotos con los muebles listos, me dijo que en lo que terminara los detalles me los llevaría. 😱.

Al día siguiente llegó a casa con los muebles, aunque se ven como blancos el color es beige y también parece gris, según el lado por donde se vean y les pegué luz parecen de diferentes colores, cosas de la perspectiva, ahora uno se puede sentar sin pararse adolorido, se ven bonitos y lo único que falta son los forros para proteger la tela, a mí me gustaron espero que salgan buenos y duren algunos años. Se siente bien el espacio, se ve mejor la sala y, aunque sigo endeudada, estoy contenta. A veces hay que tomar este tipo de decisiones para mejorar nuestros hogares que al final de cuenta es ganancia porque tendremos mejor calidad de vida.

Delivery of upholstered furniture

Greetings friends, a few days ago I told you how some furniture arrived at my grandmother's house and how was the decision to renovate it. After looking for several budgets I stayed with the lowest cost and more accessible to me, once I made the decision I also got into debt 😝 and I gave the upholsterer the first part of 60 $ to buy the materials to use, while I went for the second time to the castle store fabrics of all kinds to buy the one that would be used for the furniture.

The fabric model that my mom and I liked in the first visit was the most expensive, the colors that caught our attention were turquoise green or blue, but these colors are the same as the curtains of the living room and walls, that would look very monotonous, I researched on the internet and they say that wood or pine furniture combine better with beige, brown, blue gray or slate green colors and as the original fabric was beige I decided for those colors.

The next day he arrived home with the furniture, although they look like white the color is beige and also looks gray, depending on the side from where you look and I hit them light seem different colors, things of perspective, now one can sit without standing sore, they look nice and the only thing missing are the linings to protect the fabric, I liked them I hope they come out good and last a few years. The space feels good, the room looks better and although I am still in debt, I am happy. Sometimes we have to make this kind of decisions to improve our homes which at the end of the day is a gain because we will have a better quality of life.
