70 MILES OF FRIENDSHIP: BRIDGED BY LOVE, CONNECTED THROUGH LAUGHTER AND SWEET MEMORIES

Hello everyone! Another day, Another friendship appreciation story...

Today, I will share to you another wonderful story about my other friend of mine whom I treasure and love also...

I have a small group of friends, luckily they are real ones. There are no betrayal just pure loyalty, trust and love...

Friendship doesn’t always grow in the same town or city. Sometimes, it stretches across pedestrian lanes, fields, or even mountains. But that’s not where we met...hehe

Funny thing is, we just met inside a building. But that building witnessed our paths crossed and the beginning of our sweet friendship...

Her name is Kreisha but I called her “Kreish” for short. We both applied and got the job in a call center company located in Naga City way back 2015. We became team mates and that’s where we started our friendship. We always eat together during our break times and even went home together after our shift ends. But uncertain circumstances came, I resigned after six months and returned to my hometown in Donsol, Sorsogon...

But distance was never been a barrier to us. We still see each other at least once a year for our catch-up sessions. During holidays or long weekends, my family visited her and her family in their house and we will talk and share some stories about our lives...

Sometimes, I will invite her for a simple lunch or coffee together. We also bring our child to our lunch dates and enjoy some fun activities together. Most of the time we go to the malls, cafeteria’s or in their house. We let our kids play and be friends with each other too! There is one time that her daughter suddenly called my son “brother” and we laughed. Maybe her daughter taught that my son is really her brother because she felt the care and love of a brother from my son. ..

Before we went home, she gave me some yummy crinkles that she bought from a store nearby. And it was delish! My friend was indeed a thoughtful one. And I am so happy and thanked God that we crossed paths and became friends...

From quick chats to deep talks, from shared laughter to silent support, our friendship has stood strong through time and distance. Each mile holds a memory of love, care and pieces of advice that only a true friend/friends can give...

We may not see each other every single day, but we carry each other in our hearts, in stories we tell, even in song we hear. ..

There are moments that we both wish we could share in person. There is a time, I told her that I wish that we were neighbors so that we can visit each other anytime we want...

Always remember that when a friendship is real, it isn’t measured in miles but by meaning and love for each other. We carry our sweet memories like little souvenirs that we can bring anywhere we go. It will remind us the laughter, comfort and the connection we have with our friend/friends. That we are always just a message or call away from each other...
