Despedida de nuestra amiga Day [Esp/Eng]

Holis, ¿qué tal, amigos, cómo están? ¿Qué tal ha ido su inicio de año? Por acá todo muy bien, gracias a Dios. Empezó bastante tranquilo, aunque a mi parecer bastante fuerte también con las noticias que acontecen en el trabajo.

La verdad es que pensé que sería un día muy normal en el trabajo, como siempre, pero, como ya saben, mi unidad no es Ecoland, pero a veces mi jefa me envía para alla hacer cualquier cuestión pero nunca es fija para alla, la cosa es que yo fui de lo mas normal y cuando llegue resulta que la compañera Day estaba metiendo su renuncia porque consiguió otro trabajo de mejor remuneracion y saben como es todo mientras sea para mejor bienvenido sea la cuestion es que bueno la noticia fue un poco fuerte pero a la vez alegrarse por ella.

Hello, how are you, friends? How has your year been so far? Everything is going very well here, thank God. It started off fairly calm, although in my opinion it was also quite intense with all the news happening at work.

The truth is that I thought it would be a very normal day at work, as usual, but, as you know, my unit is not Ecoland, but sometimes my boss sends me there to do something, but it's never a regular thing. The thing is, I went as usual, and when I arrived, it turned out that my colleague Day was handing in her resignation because she had found another job with better pay, and you know how it is, as long as it's for the better, it's welcome. The thing is, well, the news was a bit of a shock, but at the same time I was happy for her.

Nos propusimos ir a almorzar todos juntos como si fuera una tipo despedida para nuestra compañera, ya que sería la última vez que comeríamos en el hotel juntas, porque ella sabe que podríamos salir en cualquier otra ocasión, pero la cuestión se volvió mejor cuando uno de los jefes hizo la sugerencia de ir al restaurant esta vez por dicho motivo, por lo cual la cuestión se volvió mucho más interesante.

Al ir a esperar la guagua para bajar, que, como ya les he contado, todo queda muy lejos, esperamos en el lobby y justo en ese momento llegó una camioneta que me causó demasiada risa porque tenía sus cachitos de reno y la narizita también, solo que, ajá, no lo podía enfocar tanto porque comprometería muchas cosas personales del vehículo, pero cumplo con mostrarle lo más importante, lo lindo que le lucían sus cachitos de reno.

We decided to go out for lunch together as if it were a farewell party for our colleague, since it would be the last time we would eat together at the hotel. She knows that we could go out on any other occasion, but the idea became even better when one of the bosses suggested going to the restaurant this time for that reason, which made it much more interesting.

As we waited for the bus to take us down, which, as I have already told you, everything is very far away, we waited in the lobby and just then a van arrived that made me laugh because it had reindeer antlers and a little nose, but I couldn't focus on it too much because it would compromise many personal details of the vehicle, but I will show you the most important thing, how cute the reindeer antlers looked on it.

Una vez llegamos al restaurante, ellos pidieron sopa; yo, por el contrario, no quería, por lo cual pedí arroz con pechuguita super bueno y papitas que, la verdad, estaban espectaculares y un casabe que, bueno, provocaba comérselo así solo. También comimos postres que, bueno, en el restaurante de los empleados no lo hubiéramos hecho y la torta estaba mega divina.

Ya para finalizar, nos fuimos a la oficina y me dio mucha risa porque al llegar teníamos unos regalos en la mesa que yo no sé si es que tengo cara de borracha o qué, pero es chistoso. Terminé recolectando como 5 botellas en todo diciembre de bebidas diferentes, jajajajjaa. Fue un día bastante cargado, pero a la vez feliz. Saludos, amigos. 🥰

Once we arrived at the restaurant, they ordered soup; I, on the other hand, didn't want any, so I ordered rice with delicious chicken breast and chips, which were truly spectacular, and a cassava cake that was so good you could eat it on its own. We also had dessert, which we wouldn't have done at the staff restaurant, and the cake was absolutely divine.

Finally, we went to the office, and I laughed because when we arrived, there were gifts on the table. I don't know if it's because I look drunk or what, but it's funny. I ended up collecting about five bottles of different drinks throughout December, ha ha ha. It was a pretty busy day, but also a happy one. Cheers, friends. 🥰
