¿Qué juegos jugaría en VR y qué juegos no? [ES | EN]

El día de hoy les traigo un post para unirme a la temática del día de hoy del Ready Player Hive (@playerhive), el cuál, si no saben qué es, les explico, es un programa de videojuegos y tecnología hosteado por mi persona y por @bananasfallers los días Martes en el servidor de discord del proyecto @aliento.
Para esta semana la temática es hablar sobre qué juegos jugarías en VR y qué juegos no, si quieres más información al respecto puedes leer este post.
Así que, sin más que agregar, ¡comencemos!
Games I would play in VR:
1.- The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I know that many will agree with me on this point, because everyone who has played the mythical saga of The Elder Scrolls has ever dreamed of being able to play in VR to live the gaming experience at the highest possible level; just imagine the possibility of using your sword to fight in those 1 v 1 against enemies, or use stealth with the bow and arrow, or your daggers from the shadows.
Imagine being able to ride a dragon, or use your magic to persuade enemies, to summon creatures, to make things explode, but all seen from a POV in 1st person, it would be a total madness, especially also for those lovers of the medieval era in which Skyrim is set.
Now let's take it a little further, a Skyrim mod known as Mantella was born some time ago, which makes the NPC's, through the use of Chat GPT can interact with you through voice interactions, in addition, they learn everything you tell them when interacting with them, thus generating a way to get out of the linear story of the game to create a very epic alternate history.
Just imagine playing in VR and also being able to talk to the NPC's using your microphone, it would literally be immersed in the game, in addition, if we use the Alternate Start - Live Another Life mod created by the user Arthmoor, we could even live a completely different story to that of Dragonborn, it would be to live a Skyrim experience taken to another level.
Some time ago I saw this video and I found it extremely incredible, being able to play Skyrim even feeling some pain to make it more immersive, without going to extremes of course, but imagine the possibilities, it would be an incredibly exhausting but incredibly satisfying gaming experience for all of us who love this saga, and if we were to transfer that to The Elder Scrolls Online, imagine having a party with friends, all immersed in VR playing, it would be TOTALLY EPIC.
Juegos que jugaría en VR:
1.- The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Sé que muchos van a coincidir conmigo en este punto, porque todo el que ha jugado a la mítica saga de The Elder Scrolls alguna vez ha zoñado con poder jugar en VR para vivir la experiencia de juego en el nivel más alto posible; tan solo imaginen la posibilidad de utilizar tu mandoble para pelear en esos 1 v 1 contra enemigos, o utilizar el sigilo con el arco y flecha, o tus dagas desde las sombras.
Imagina el poder montar un dragón, o utilizar tu magia para persuadir enemigos, para invocar criaturas, para hacer explotar cosas, pero todo visto desde un POV en 1era persona, sería una locura total, sobretodo también para esos amantes de la época medieval en la que se ambienta Skyrim.
Ahora vamos a llevarlo un poco más allá, desde hace tiempo nació un mod de Skyrim conocido como Mantella, el cuál hace que los NPC's, a través del uso de Chat GPT puedan interactuar contigo a través de interacciones de voz, además, se aprenden todo lo que les dices al interactuar con ellos, generando así una manera de poder salirte de la historia lineal del juego para poder crear una historia alterna muy épica.
Tan solo imagina estar jugando en VR y además poder hablar con los NPC's utilizando tu micrófono, sería literalmente estar sumergido en el juego, además, si utilizamos el mod de Alternate Start - Live Another Life creado por el usuario Arthmoor, podríamos inclusive vivir una historia completamente distinta a la del Dragonborn, sería vivir una experiencia de Skyrim llevada a otro nivel.
Hace tiempo vi este vídeo y me pareció súmamente increíble, el poder jugar Skyrim inclusive sintiendo algo de dolor para hacerlo más inmersivo, sin llegar a los extremos claro, pero imaginen las posibilidades, sería una experiencia de juego increíblemente agotadora pero increíblemente satisfactoria para todos los que amamos esta saga, y si trasladáramos eso al The Elder Scrolls Online, imaginen hacer un party con amigos, todos inmersos en VR jugando, sería TOTALMENTE ÉPICO.
2.- Silent Hill 4: The Room
Now here's where it all changes, because I'm sure the vast majority of people reading this will completely disagree with me about playing this game in VR, but I can't help it, I'm too much of a fan of the Silent Hill franchise and this is by far one of my favorite releases of it; already the game immerses you a bit in a 1st person POV in some parts of the game, but just imagine if you could be in that perspective all the time and be able to interact with things yourself.
The puzzles would be one of the most fun parts for me, because from the classic perspective of this type of games it is always much easier to solve them, but from a 1st person perspective there are things that are not so implicit and we would have to figure out ways to understand what we should do in the puzzles, it would be to get into the skin of the characters that inhabit the game and I would love that very much.
Obviously it has its negative side, and it is the fact that meeting the monsters would be something quite horrible from that perspective, I'm not going to lie, of course I would die of fear and nerves, especially if they appear out of nowhere screamer type, but that's what I like about this kind of games, to be living this level of adrenaline.
Surely I will have to rest from time to time because even though I love this kind of games, it really affects my nerves in many occasions, because I am still a human being, but I would never refuse to live an epic experience like that.
2.- Silent Hill 4: The Room
Ahora aquí es donde cambia todo, porque estoy seguro de que la gran mayoría de personas que me leerán estarán en completo desacuerdo conmigo sobre jugar este juego en VR, pero no puedo evitarlo, soy demasiado fanático de la franquicia de Silent Hill y este es, por mucho, uno de mis lanzamientos favoritos de la misma; ya el juego te sumerge un poco en un POV de 1era persona en algunas partes del juego, pero tan solo imaginen que pudieras estar todo el tiempo en esa perspectiva y poder interactuar con las cosas tú mismo.
Los acertijos serían una de las partes más divertidas para mí, porque desde la perspectiva clásica de este tipo de juegos siempre es mucho más fácil resolverlos, pero desde una perspectiva de 1era persona hay cosas que no quedan tan implícitas y tendríamos que ingeniarnos maneras de poder entender qué debemos hacer en los acertijos, sería meternos en la piel de los personajes que habitan el juego y eso a mí me encantaría muchísimo.
Obviamente tiene su parte negativa, y es el hecho de que encontrarnos con los monstruos sería algo bastante horrible desde esa perspectiva, no les voy a mentir, claro que me moriría de miedo y de nervios, sobretodo si me aparecen de la nada tipo screamer pero eso es lo que me gusta de este tipo de juegos, el estar viviendo este nivel de adrenalina.
Seguramente tendré que descansar de vez en cuando porque a pesar de que me encanta mucho este tipo de juegos, realmente me afecta full los nervios en muchas ocasiones, porque sigo siendo un ser humano, pero jamás me negaría a vivir una experiencia así de épica.
Games I would NEVER play in VR
1.- League Of Legends
And here is surely where many of you who know me will be surprised, because maybe you thought otherwise, but no, believe me that although League Of Legends is the game I have played the most in my life, because I have been playing it since 2010, that is, 15 years of continuous activity, I would never play LoL in VR and I have several reasons about it.
The first is, undoubtedly, for the sense of the game, I would not feel good or comfortable having to run through all the lines in which I play, to be moving all the time to dodge skills, to be aware of where to aim, of the objectives, of farming and attacking enemy champions in a 1st person perspective, it would be practically impossible and if possible, it would be incredibly uncomfortable.
In fact, currently there is a game known as Smite which was a proposal to make a kind of LoL in 3rd person that turned out to be quite popular, but when I played it I didn't like it very much because it was too uncomfortable for the same reason as MOBA games, there are too many things to be aware of to play in 3rd person, it doesn't make much sense.
The other reason, is the fact of not having any rest and having to play for 30-45 minutes thinking about everything that needs to be done and moving, instead, in the previously mentioned games, even though they merit moments of much adrenaline and action, there are moments where we will be resting, talking to NPC's, solving puzzles and so on, not all the time will be fighting and action, but in LoL every second counts, so I don't feel it would be much fun to be too long in that mental and adrenaline focus either.
Juegos que JAMÁS jugaría en VR
1.- League Of Legends
Y aquí seguramente es donde muchos de los que me conocen se sorprenderán, porque tal vez pensaron lo contrario, pero no, créanme que aunque League Of Legends sea el juego que más he jugado en mi vida, pues llevo desde el año 2010 jugándolo, es decir, 15 años de actividad continua, jamás jugaría al LoL en VR y tengo varios motivos al respecto.
El primero es, sin lugar a dudas, por el sentido del juego, no me sentiría bien ni cómodo teniendo yo que correr por todas las líneas en las que juego, estarme moviendo todo el tiempo para poder esquivar habilidades, estar pendiente de donde apuntar, de los objetivos, de farmear y de atacar a los campeones enemigos en una perspectiva de 1era persona, sería prácticamente imposible y de ser posible, sería increíblemente incómodo.
De hecho, actualmente existe un juego conocido como Smite que fue una propuesta de hacer una especie de LoL en 3era persona que resultó ser bastante popular, pero cuando lo jugué no me gustó mucho porque era demasiado incómodo por el mismo sentido de los juegos MOBA, son demasiadas cosas de las que estar pendiente para jugar en 3era persona, no tiene mucho sentido.
El otro motivo, es el hecho de no tener descanso alguno y tener que jugar durante 30-45 minutos pensando en todo lo que hay que hacer y moviéndome, en cambio, en los juegos anteriormente mencionados, a pesar de que ameritan momentos de mucha adrenalina y acción, hay momentos donde estaremos descansando, hablando con NPC's, resolviendo acertijos y demás, no todo el tiempo será de lucha y acción, pero en el LoL cada segundo cuenta, entonces tampoco siento que sería muy divertido estar demasiado tiempo en ese mental y enfoque de adrenalina.

Definitivamente jugar Skyrim asi seria demasiado inmersivo, ese mod mantella lo lleva a otro nivel, digno de Ready Player One
Simplemente las posibilidades se vuelven infinitas mi bro, es increíble imaginarse eso y lo más loco es que seguramente en unos 5 años ya veremos maneras de jugar videojuegos tipo SAO (Sword Art Online) o hasta tipo la serie Solo Leveling o la misma película de Ready Player One, una locura.

El mismo concepto de tener un juego como Skyrim en VR y sumando la IA para los npcs? Eso si es que la experiencia de inmersión máxima, faltaría que agreguemos el mod de Skyrim Together y explota todo, amaría que hagamos algo así.
Silent hill The room, literalmente fue un juego que logró que desconecte la computadora del enchufe de un infarto JAJAJA, me puedo llegar a morir en el momento que lo conecto. Aunque es verdad lo que dices, los acertijos en VR sería una carnicería cerebral, muy bueno.
¡Es que tenemos que jugar asíííí´, imagínate este juego o hasta el Monster Hunter! Cazando monstruos juntos en VR, diooooos, junto con @josecarrerag, @bleikin y @dimeshana, el party de la locura jajaja.

Estoy Totalmente de acuerdo con lo del Skyrim en VR, sería demasiado épico poder jugarlo una vez y con lo de la IA en los NPC en los juegos, pero si algo en Vr que no jugaría sería el RE, excluyendo el Village, porque sería interesante enfrentarse a cierta vampira una vez jajajaja

Naguara yo no sé mucho de juegos como les mencioné en el programa, pero jugar Silent Hill en RV tienes que tenerlas bien puestas jajaja.
Con respecto a LOL imagino que como es una batalla seria extremadamente agotador.

My first choice for a VR game would be Metal Gear Solid; experiencing Snake's troubled life would be incredible.
My friend, playing the Silent Hill franchise in VR would be incredible too. I'm a huge fan. I played the first two games and, unfortunately, I didn't have time to continue playing; the reality of adulthood eventually drove me away from the gaming world.
I'm an archaic person; if possible, I'd like to play old PS1 and PS2 games in VR: Vagrant Story, Final Fantasy 7 and 9, among others.
I don't know why, but current games, even with their realistic quality, have lost the innovative dynamics of the past.
