Hola amigos Geek Zone deseándoles un feliz 2026 hoy quiero compartirles mi primera publicación del año para esta acogedora comunidad y es en cierta forma una deuda pendiente, una tarea que me dejó mi sobrino unas semanas antes de terminar el año y es que resulta que este pequeño demonio cumple años el 19 de diciembre y lamentablemente no pude asistir a celebrarlo con él pues estaba cuidando de mi madre. Pero la última semana de diciembre vino a visitarme y hasta ese momento no sabía que regalarle. Entonces me comentó que quería un nuevo mouse gamer y yo: ¿Otro?! No había pasado siquiera 1 año desde el último que le había dado! Pues resulta que ya le había dado tanta rosca al pobre aparatico que ya estaba necesitando otro. Le pregunté que diablos era lo que se la pasaba jugando que desgastaba tanto los mouse que le daba, y fue entonces que me dijo exactamente estas palabras: "Soy un jugador semi profesional de Rivals".

Today I want to share my first post of the year for this welcoming community, and it's somewhat of a debt I owed, a task my nephew left me with a few weeks before the end of the year. It turns out this little devil's birthday is December 19th, and unfortunately, I couldn't celebrate with him because I was taking care of my mother. But he came to visit me the last week of December, and up until that moment, I didn't know what to get him. Then he told me he wanted a new gaming mouse, and I was like, "Another one?!" It hadn't even been a year since the last one I gave him! Well, it turns out I'd used that poor little thing so much that it really needed another one. I asked him what the heck he was playing that was wearing out the mice I gave him so much, and that's when he said these exact words: "I'm a semi-professional Rivals player."

Luego me enteré de que se trataba, un juego al estilo counter strike (o esa fue la impresión que me dio cuando lo vi) y del que como todo al rededor de Roblox, tiene cientos de streamers dedicados a jugar horas y horas para ganar logros como skins y armas. Con ese background salimos entonces a comprarle el regalo de cumpleaños a mi sobrino y bueno básicamente no le recomendé nada porque ya parecía saber que era lo que estaba buscando. Terminamos en el Sambil de La Candelaria en Caracas donde finalmente encontramos el modelo que estaba buscando: un Redragon Centrophorus2 M601-RGB.
Later I found out what it was: a game in the style of Counter-Strike (or at least that's the impression I got when I saw it), and like everything else surrounding Roblox, it has hundreds of streamers dedicated to playing for hours on end to earn achievements like skins and weapons. With that background, we went out to buy my nephew a birthday present, and well, I basically didn't recommend anything because he already seemed to know what he was looking for. We ended up at the Sambil shopping mall in La Candelaria, Caracas, where we finally found the model he was looking for: a Redragon Centrophorus2 M601-RGB.
El precio de este mouse era mucho más alto que el MSi que reseñé el año pasado, con un precio de 40$ pero que vino con un regalo añadido y fue el de una extensa alfombrilla que también era marca Redragon. Con tantos elementos mi sobrino estaba más que emocionado pero recordó a mis amigos de #readyplayerhive y me pidió que hiciéramos las capturas del unboxing de este mouse para compartirlo con ellos, esa fue la tarea que me dejo mi sobrino y pues aquí estoy haciéndoles la reseña de este unboxing.
The price of this mouse was much higher than the MSI Forge GM300 I reviewed last year, which cost $40 but came with a bonus gift: a large mousepad, also from Redragon. With so many extras, my nephew was more than excited, but he remembered my friends at #readyplayerhive and asked me to take screenshots of the unboxing to share with them. That was the task my nephew gave me, and so here I am, giving you the unboxing review.
Cuando abrimos la caja 2 cosas fueron la que me llamaron más la atención de este mouse: primero el diseño elegante que tenía con los 2 botones frontales y otros 2 en el lateral izquierdo. Tiene 2 botones más posterior a la rueda y son para modificar el RGB del mouse y el segundo para ajustar la sensibilidad del mouse hasta 7200 DPi. Lo segundo que también me causó curiosidad es lo pesado que es este mouse, normalmente un mouse así de pesado es porque es wireless pero este no es el caso. Cuando le pregunte a mi sobrino me dijo que era porque tenía un sistema de pesas ajustables.
When we opened the box, two things immediately caught my attention about this mouse: first, its elegant design with two front buttons and two more on the left side. It also has two additional buttons behind the scroll wheel: one to adjust the mouse's RGB lighting and the other to adjust the sensitivity up to 7200 DPI. The second thing that intrigued me was how heavy this mouse is. Normally, a mouse this heavy is wireless, but that's not the case here. When I asked my nephew, he said it was because it had an adjustable weight system.

La alfombrilla para el mouse me pareció espectacular, nunca había tenido una tan extensa como esa, he tenido las Steel Series que son bastante amplias pero nunca una como esta que fuera tan extensa.
The mousepad was spectacular. I'd never had one this large before. I've had SteelSeries mousepads, which are quite spacious, but never one this big.
Posteriormente revisamos mejor el tema del balance del mouse con las pesas, en la base tiene la ranura donde se ubican 8 pesitas de 2,4 g dispuestas de forma concéntrica que incrementan el peso de todo el mouse hasta los 100 g para darle mayor estabilidad y precisión al cursor cuando se trata de juegos que no requieren movimientos ultra rápidos, pero igual es removible si quieres tener mayor movilidad.
We then reviewed the issue of the mouse's balance with the weights in more detail. At the base, there is a slot where eight 2.4g weights are located, arranged concentrically, which increase the weight of the entire mouse to 100g to give greater stability and precision to the cursor when it comes to games that do not require ultra-fast movements, but it is also removable if you want to have greater mobility.

Por último conectamos el mouse al Pc para ver el RGB y sentir el mouse con y sin las pesas, como pueden ver con el rgb tiene un aspecto genial y con las 2 configuraciones: con o sin las pesas el mouse es bastante cómodo y preciso. El ajuste de los DPi también es bastante intuitivo, en lo personal me gusta tenerlo configurado a 2400 DPi y mi sobrino a 4800. De todas formas puedes descargar e instalar un asistente para el pc donde puedas configurar las preferencias del mouse.
Finally, we connected the mouse to the PC to see the RGB lighting and test the mouse with and without the weights. As you can see, the RGB lighting looks fantastic, and with both configurations—with or without the weights—the mouse is quite comfortable and precise. The DPI adjustment is also quite intuitive. Personally, I like to have it set to 2400 DPI, and my nephew prefers 4800. You can also download and install a DPI wizard for your PC to configure the mouse's preferences.

En resumen amigos, este mouse vale cada centavo invertido en él, le doy un sólido 9/10 desde su diseño hasta su comodidad y ergonomía este mouse de cable trenzado esta hecho para aguantar a los gamers más exigentes. De hecho fuimos a la casa de un amigo que recién se había armado una Pc Gamer con una RTX 5070 y alli fue donde realmente mi sobrino le dio el bautismo de fuego a su mouse. Cuando vi la forma en la que jugaba Rivals me di cuenta de porque le duraban tan poco los mouses, pero no lo puedo juzgar yo también levanté un cementerio de mouses jugando horas interminables de Diablo2 LoD y Diablo 3 RoS, así que lo entiendo perfectamente. Con estas líneas finales termino por cumplir la promesa que le hice a mi sobrino, nos vemos en un próximo unboxing amigos. Saludos!
In short, friends, this mouse is worth every penny. I give it a solid 9/10. From its design to its comfort and ergonomics, this braided-wire mouse is built to withstand even the most demanding gamers. In fact, we went to a friend's house who had just built a gaming PC with an RTX 5070, and that's where my nephew really put his mouse to the test. When I saw how he played Rivals, I realized why his mice didn't last long, but I can't really judge him. I also built up a mouse graveyard playing endless hours of Diablo 2: LoD and Diablo 3: RoS, so I completely understand. With these final lines, I've fulfilled the promise I made to my nephew. Uffffffffff, que completo que está ese Mouseeee, me encanta que tenga tantos pesos para agregarle, siempre he sido partidario de utilizar los ratones bien pesados. Aunque con la última lesión que tuve ahora tengo uno liviano, excelente regalo querido Bulka.
