🦉 The long-tailed tit or long-tailed bushtit (Aegithalos caudatus)
- Aegithalos (Greek): tit
- caudatus (lat.): tailed

This small, cute bird stands out with its unusually long tail for its modest size. The plumage is mostly white and dark on the back, with a slight pinkish tint on the sides. However, there are differences in coloring in different subspecies that live in different parts of the world. It is rare to meet it alone - most often these birds move in small flocks, jumping from branch to branch and chirping incessantly.

It is interesting that although these birds nest in pairs, other individuals can help feed the chicks. Sometimes you can see several birds scurrying back and forth to one nest, bringing food. It seems as if the whole family is taking part in raising the offspring. This is how these birds become friends and earn a certain social rating.

Очень милая пушистая синичка. Отличное фото.

That fist photo is just awesome! I see them a lot, but the buggers seem to be ever-moving, so hard to take a decent photo!! :)
