birdies loins for SMaP contest

This post goes for 'Show me a photo (of a bird)' contest, round #131. Week's topic was 'Bird's Bottom' -- that stuff is pretty easy to capture, if you shooting a birdie sitting on a tree. In other cases birds rarely show you their bump, so it can be tricky! Look at my today's selection -- hope you will find some fun here. 😎

A Grebe ducks pair, sitting at their hatching in the local park (the ones I see during the last three years in a row). If you get too close to the nest, the mother hen will become alarmed and swim away, but immediately returns to the eggs - she may pause a little, laying the eggs comfortably before sitting down again - at this moment you can see and photograph her bottom.

Coot duck. A rare capture: birdie with its head stuck in its ass... well, apparently there :)

Tit hiding in the birch foliage... no doubt, it have hided the most part .... except of the tail and bump!

Thrush chick. I already talked about this encounter in the spring, what can I add to the story? The chick has an ass, and until its plumage has grown, the bottom can be seen a little better ... but I note for the record: this is a random shot, I'm not obsessed with looking at the birdies loins.

A starling resting on one leg. One even may think this is an exhibitionist starling, deliberately posing with his ass turned to me... I don't know for sure, but could be! In any case, it was a very contemplative starling, which sat immersed in its visions and did not fly away, despite I approached it at a minimum distance and endlessly created some threatening sounds (the shutter of my canon camera clicks pretty loudly!)

let me round up the story with this one: pigeons perform some water procedures at the city fountain. Who said pigeons are dirty birds? they also take bath on a regular basis!
