Robin with a mouth full of nest

Architects, construction workers, and short-haul transport—these Robins have to do it all themselves. Nest building is serious business, and this one has a mouthful. I imagine gathering up as much material as possible is more efficient, so that's why this bird has quite a mouthful of it here. It took a few moments to ensure the load was secure inside its beak before I saw it take off to deposit the material and continue with building its palace.

Awesome photo👍I like photos where birds are busy with something. It's really funny that the thrush was called a robin for some reason🤷‍♂️
