House Sparrow
A challenging bird to get sitting still, these house sparrows really move quickly. As soon as I saw this one nearby, I had to get my camera quickly while trying not to startle it. I cropped these images as they are the few sharp ones I was able to get from a bit of a distance. I really enjoy what my Z8 does to the backgrounds, so much smooth and interesting green really helps this little sparrow stand out.

You are right, this bird is really very fast. You must have waited a long time to see it sitting in one place for this shoot. :)
