8 years on the Hive blockchain
YOU guys are awesome..
What an incredible amount of time we have spent on this chain, thank you @arcange for developing this unique beautiful tool to remind us, we often forget our own birthday. And it feels great and excited when we are reminded, isn't it ?
In these eight years, I have not written a lot of posts, but what started as a hobby to share my life as blog has certainly improved a lot. I am not a professional content creator as such, however, apart from my job, I wanted to pursue something to de-congest myself and writing is definitely a great tool for emotional expression and growth, which transforms intangibility of our emotions and experiences into memoirs - something that will be valuable than anything else in a decade - when we retire from a regular job. Looking back at these memoirs will not only inspire us to engage all our bandwidth here, but we can also show these memoirs to our future generations - I cam imagine, how beautiful will be that time.
There are people on our chain, who manage their job pretty well and contribute on a daily basis for better rewards, but since I have multiple responsibilities to take care, I rather prefer to write when I feel comfortable. Draining myself just for the sake of writing a post for rewards does not feel legit to me. Of late I have also focused on writing quality content only at the same time, sometimes, spending a lot of time to write a quality post, filtering some of the best photographs, creating videos, adding the narratives and most importantly sharing our blogs to the community outside of hive - a little hive marketing from me at my own capacity. I believe, we have true potential to be one of the best blockchain - we just lack marketing, which I often stressed in several of my replies. So we should try to do any kind of marketing that we can - hive certainly has potential to be one of the top 100 coins.
Recently I have made attempts to bring businesses from my place for Distriator rewards, but unfortunately after understanding everything, they simply deny only because of their fear that, tax authorities may hit them hard, as they don't report everything in black and white. The government is also to blame - without clear tax rules, no one wants to take the risk. One of the businesses even suggested me to start a company and accept on their behalf and pay them in fiat - but that defeats the whole purpose of Distriator.
My son @shreyansh wants to do a start up and I was suggesting him to open Hivebucks - a business of our own to accept HBD and crypto - may be if we start, then people will step forward and we can explain them the benefits. It's not simple to do a start up as advertised - especially when you want to go against waves. We will see how it goes.
To celebrate my hive birthday I decided to spend some time to design a footer to replace my previous one. Again I am not a UI specialist, but where there is a will, there is a way. This time I prefer to put my real picture in it - I love to see real people come forward and show themselves if we have to make this place as a social blockchain. There is no alternative to human touch - no technology or AI can replace that and the web2 companies are taking advantage of that. We need to be smart and take over, and show them that we are real human beings on this niche blockchain - a blockchain that cares for people.

Congratulations. I also started blogging in 2017. I really regret that sometimes I took long breaks from posting but the past is the past and I can't change it now. Also I wish that that I had started investing in Hive sooner.

Just writing for reward is not a good deal at all....
As you said it is your hobby to produce quality content , so I think we should try to take it as our hobby...
If we take it as a fatigue then I think we cannot continue it in a long run...

Hivebucks is a great idea. Crypto regulations is one of the biggest problems for us in India. We cannot be so sure what regulations we should be following to run a business with Crypto. If we get more clarity and relaxation on that, I'm sure many people would be willing to do business that accepts crypto as payment.
That's the reason I want him to start, learn all the process as he eventually want to do a start up and not a job.

Happy Birthday Sanjeev. It would be great if you could get some businesses on board. I know in Nigeria and Venezuela that Distriator is flying, but in those two countries using cryptocurrencies is a necessary way of life. India not so, and over here, most people view crypto as a scam lol.
