The Sandbag House Reno Record - Take a pew
I said, right at the beginning of the reno process, that I had a plan for this pew.
The (long) transformation continues. On rainy garden days, painting happens.
This old pew is now a ray of sunshine in a sunny spot where I thaw in the winter sun. Soon, the jasmine will be in full bloom.
Harking back to my childhood, that scent is one of my favourite things. That will make my lunch spot all the sweeter.
Until next time

It's so special about turning an old piece into a sunlit treasure. It’s like breathing new life into memories.😍
Thank you. That's a very nice thing to say!
You're welcome! 🤗
Oh I absolutely love it! What a gorgeous spot to sit and unwind. I can almost smell the jasmine and feel the winter sun. I was definitely a cat in a previous life: looks like a good place to read and take a nap 😜🐾
Thank you. It's a good spot to watch the world go by...
and a reminder that we sometimes just need to take a breath and let the hustle and bustle pass us by <3
