The Sandbag House Reno Record - reimagining the Void - III
Again, things have slowed down again, except for painting which is giving us all a better - and real sense - of the room that's emerging from what was the void.
Be and his team spent two days starting the process of - literally - filling the cracks and starting to paint.

When I was thinking about the paint job for this room, I decided that the exposed rafters should be white. Some were very disapproving.

This baby step makes me I think I made the right decision.

The second coat confirms this.

The bannisters for the stairwell must (obviously be done, and when the bathroom's plumbing is addressed - next week, I'm told - the wall will go up in front of those pipes and the door will go in. I guess that will be the final step before the floor is painted. In what will be my new bedroom and the bathroom with a little workstation somewhere on the side.
Until next time

Meanwhile, at our place...
Well, the finished/furnished product will be the "pudding", I suspect. We'll see.
Fantastic!
