Hive Open Mic Week 292 – Moving Mountains | Si Puedes Creer - Cover by @Maitt87
Hello, dear Open Mic friends! We have reached week 292 of this wonderful contest, and the theme for this edition, Moving Mountains, feels perfect for reflecting on the power of faith when we learn to truly trust in God.
For this week, I wanted to perform the song If You Can Believe by the talented singer-songwriter Lilly Goodman, a song from her album Come Home (2009) that conveys a deeply hopeful message. The lyrics remind us that no obstacle is too big when we believe, because faith is not based on what we see, but on what we know God can do. Sometimes circumstances seem impossible, the paths become difficult, and the mountain in front of us seems immovable, but right there, in the midst of the trial, is when faith becomes our greatest strength.
Moving mountains does not always mean changing the external, but transforming the internal: our doubts, our fears, our lack of hope. Every time we choose to believe, we are moving a mountain within ourselves. Singing this song is a way to renew that confidence in God's power, remembering that when we believe, anything is possible.

¡Hola, queridos amigos de Open Mic! Llegamos a la semana 292 de este maravilloso concurso, y la temática de esta edición, Moviendo Montañas, y siento que es perfecta para reflexionar sobre la fuerza que tiene la fe cuando aprendemos a confiar verdaderamente en Dios.
Para esta semana he querido interpretar el tema Si Puedes Creer de la talentosa cantante y compositora Lilly Goodman, una canción que forma parte de su álbum Vuelve a Casa (2009) y que transmite un mensaje profundamente esperanzador. La letra nos recuerda que ningún obstáculo es demasiado grande cuando creemos, porque la fe no se basa en lo que vemos, sino en lo que sabemos que Dios puede hacer. A veces las circunstancias parecen imposibles, los caminos se tornan difíciles y la montaña frente a nosotros parece inamovible, pero justo ahí, en medio de la prueba, es cuando la fe se convierte en nuestra mayor fortaleza.
Mover montañas no siempre significa cambiar lo externo, sino transformar lo interno: nuestras dudas, nuestros miedos, nuestra falta de esperanza. Cada vez que elegimos creer, estamos moviendo una montaña dentro de nosotros. Cantar esta canción es una manera de renovar esa confianza en el poder de Dios, recordando que cuando creemos, todo es posible.
