Greetings my fellow lovers of Hive, welcome to another week here on the hive open mic community. I remain my humble self @coderaikiri and for the 270th edition, I'll be presenting a cover to the song I need an angel by Ruben Studdard and I hope I am able to do justice to the song.
Being a music lover one is always overjoyed to discover something new that completely aligns with your taste. The theme for the week is holy spirit, and I need an angel seems to be a perfect representation of that. The song is over two decades old but still has that unique sound that can even rival works from this period.
As a boy I always thought the song was a product from R.kelly and found it extremely difficult to pick which I liked best between it and storm is over. After the shocking revelation that it was not R.kelly's work I fell in love with it even more. The song is for literally for anybody out there who is in a messy situation.
