Promising start?

This month euroleague season started. My favorite team already played 6 games. We won 4 of those games and for now is in 4 spot. This result could have been better because we had a some chance of winning in the games we lost as well. One of our key players got injured in the last game and will miss a few games. But I hope that we will win them even without him. Even after his injury many other teams have more health problems. Also this season our team is not a one man army and has some decent depth. But in euroleague basicly any team can have a great day and beat far stronger teams. For intance in the last game we beat a Barcelona( a much richer team) in their own court. So we can't take games for granted and look down on some on paper weaker teams. Right now we are going to play a few of those ,,weaker teams''. Season is long but every point and every victory can be priceless in the end of regular season when it will determine which teams will advance to playoffs and play-in stage. So while taking victories against teams like Fenerbahce, Monaco or Barcelona feels great we can't afford to lose against poorer teams that could be our potential rivals for playoff spot. Now we will play a few games at home. So I hope that my favorite team will continue to do well and collect those crucial victories while other teams are still not playing their best basketball/ has bigger health problems than my favorite team.

I don't know much about football. But I heard that football team Zalgiris from our capital city could go bankrupt soon.

Never knew Barca or Monaco played the basketball. I thought they only did soccer. Basketball is my second favorite sport after soccer. I remember a night I viewed a thrilling encounter between Steph Curry's and LeBron's Teams. It was exhilarating, a wild horse ride. I hope your favourite team continues to win.

The team is doing really well so far, especially with some players injured. I hope they keep this focus in every game, even against the teams that look easier. EuroLeague can change quickly, so every match is important.

Once, I was a fan of soccer and cricket. Now, no time to watch anything.

I was never a fan of basketball!

Good to hear that beside painting, you have another hobby, watching basketball games! :)

I never liked football/soccer. I think that it has not enough goals. And I never saw cricket...I also love boxing and baseball animes- Hajime no Ippo, Ashita no joe, One Outs and Major. But I was never interested in those sports in real life.

I totally agree with your thoughts. The EuroLeague is always full of surprises, even small teams can win on a good day. Your team seems to be in a strong position right now, and winning 4 out of 6 is a solid start. Beating Barcelona away shows that they have real potential. I hope your team can build more confidence and secure important wins.
