Errands, Visits, Treats & Such

After my therapy in the morning, we drove out of town for important errands related to the EJK we were processing - visiting the attorney's office, the local civil registry, and such. We headed to my father-in-law's place afterwards for his allowance. We left half an hour later and drove to meet our cousins, for we had some catching up to do.

First, we visited our amiable girl cousin in their cozy lil snack house, and while there, we enjoyed sweet delights. What a joyful coincidence, as the hubby was craving the cold treat (halo halo). I can't help but take a pic of my cup.

Chitchats, teasing, chismis, and such made the treat even tastier. Not sure if it was only me, but even the simplest food becomes more yummy-licious when consumed with those we love and care for.

In between conversations, I played with their friendly wee pup, making my LilGuy jealous, lol! Unfortunately, I didn't photograph the adorable wee furry girl. She was sleeping under the table when we bade goodbye.

Funny thing, I did take some snaps of the cool stickers on the shop's wall just before we exited the place. This particular one below made me think we should try a cup of their milk tea next time (we have LOVE already, eh😁)

It's Coffee O'clock, so keep calm and drink coffee, it says. I can do that, but not today because I'm excited and it's tough to calm the nerves, lol!

Kidding aside, I used to love coffee (I still do, my nostrils and taste buds do), but my stomach complains. Just a sip or two on it makes me uneasy, so I had to say 'pass' most of the time. I've stopped consuming it for almost a year now, and I still blame my hormones for the change, lol!

And this? I can't help but nod in agreement.

Because it's true, or is it not? So yeah, we should really have a cup of their tea the next time we visit them. Who knows what life would bring us if we did😊

Anyhow, we had a few more stops from there before we drove home. An hour at another cousin's house, about thirty minutes at my sister's workplace (clinic), and then a late lunch at the restaurant for the Farmboy was famished. Because of that, we are skipping dinner because we still feel full.

What comes next? Oh well, it's dark outside, so early snooze? LOL!

It tastes yummy. It's sweet. The crushed ice was crunchy to the tongue😀

It was one of those rare times, but we had fun.

Your stomach doesn't like coffe because caffeine stimulates acid production, there are studies on that

What taste was that violet treat?

You're right about that. It's funny how things changed, maybe my stomach has gotten older too, lol!

The violet thing is sweet. It's ube or purple yam.
