In sports game, team managers would usually have a pool of reserves on the bench, ready to fill in vacancy on the team should their star players got injured, unwell or any other reasons.

So is reserve necessary? Definitely yes if the goal is not to be giving the other party a walk over.

Noel has just been make the "Super Reserve" by her manager in the usual weekly meeting as 4 out of 5 members are going on leave concurrently and Noel is the only one whose leave plan is one week after their return.

Thus she has been named the "Super Reserve" to be covering for all 4 of her absent team member in the coming week. But even as she managed to sustain the team and deliver all the goals, it would not do her much good as the key player is never her and all the eventual credit would not go to her.

Plight of a reserve that is.
