A wonderful weekend, yay!

And my LilGuy's surgery went smoothly; he even had his teeth cleaned (no more tartar buildup), although we had to wait because there was a sick pup when we arrived at the vet clinic. The procedure was finished around 11 in the morning, and an hour recovery time (for him to regain consciousness and be able to move his body). The doctor was very amiable, which made the waiting bearable.

I felt so relieved that there had been no complications or any adverse reactions to the anesthesia, which I read can be risky. Even the vet explained the possible risks and made us sign a waiver. But my boy was strong and even fought it when the test dose was administered. And according to the vet, he was given some more because he kept moving when he was on the operating table.

As much as I wanted to see how things are done, we were not allowed in the operating room. We can't even take a photo or video inside the clinic, as "Picture or Video Recording is Prohibited" notices are plastered on its walls. We respected that, of course.

This was him on the way home. He was already standing on his own, even sniffing on his pillow.


Anyway, since it's Saturday, it's time for a quick look back on how things have been during week 42, specifically for my two targets (goals) for the year.

Glad to have increased my Sats by 42,805. My funds, which had been stuck on HE last week, were refunded by Gerber. Because the SURGE presale was over, I decided to convert (swap) them to Sats instead, using v4v. On waking up this morning, I found out that BTC (and all other crypto) dropped even more, lol! I was a little too early, huh! But it's okay.

For my savings, only 3 HBD were added, ending the week with 2,203. That is because I used most of the previous week's rewards to acquire SURGE. Thinking about it, my 2.5k target might be tough to achieve with only 10 weeks to go.

And lastly, my Hive Power grew by 182 and is now 29,070 from 28,888 last weekend. With the current price of HIVE, I'm confident my 30k HP goal will be checked off before next year arrives.

Meanwhile, Tropical Storm Ramil is already in the country, but we are glad it's not angry (it's bringing light as of now). We hope it remains that way and leaves soon.

Ah the little one has the come of shame! Surgery and vet visits are not cheap but good to see them recovering and maintaining their health.

It is an interesting time with crypto and I hedged back in and added some Solana to my portfolio in the dip. I can’t go all in with my liquid assets as it will drive me nuts not to have a little to pick another dip. Still, a little time will show that stacking in times like these will eventually pay off.

It sure isn't. Dental cleaning cost as much as that of ours, lol! But yes, it's nice to keep them healthy.

Congrats on taking advantage of the dip. It's a smart move not to go all in at once because the market can be very playful :)
