Celebrations of the Ganesh Chaturthi Festival
As I mentioned yesterday, I will be celebrating the Ganesh Chaturthi festival for 2 days at my home and I will be having many guests who all of us together will do the festive rituals. I had almost 50 people at home, though my home is not very big but magically it accommodated everyone and that's what I called Lord Ganesha's blessings. Since it was Saturday I was expecting more people to come. Normally I send out an invite to all the people I know in the city and then at their convenience they would come to seek blessings. People come all through out the day, but yesterday almost everyone turned up in the evening only and then my whole home was filled up. I enjoy the vibe, everyone is in good mood and there is so much cheer, fun and laughter.
Thanx to my cook who was there all through out the day with me and helped me prepare snacks for the guests. I made Sprouts salad, cheese and chutney sandwich, veg rice noodles. One of my friend prepared fruit salad for all of us, which was very sweet of her. By the time everyone left all the food was over and I felt that I should have prepared more.
We started the evening with the Pooja, where the priest made us do a ritual by lighting a lamp.
Like every year I also set my Angels Table and I had some rituals around this also.
Love the whole vibe of this festival

We clicked loads of pictures during the ceremonies. It was nice, all my guests had a divine time. I spend these 2 days completely in prayers and rituals and it brings in so much of good energy into my home and life.
It's very nice to see different traditions around the globe specially the traditions in your country, I believe that India had lots of festivities to thank the gods for their blessing, truly your country is very rich in culture and traditions and still stick to the past event though the world is transitioning to modernization.❤️
True, we have many festivals to celebrate and now the festival season also begins so every month there is some or the other celebrations. Thank God our people still value our traditions and culture and believe in them
