Turn up everyday. You won't regret it.
It's amazing how underrated turning up is.
It's the most basic step to completing any challenge or task.
Too many people think that they will make it with no time or effort. That the world is only waiting to hand them the win.
Not in any world that i've ever seen. Anybody who achieves instant success is an anomaly not a norm. It's not normal for success to fall onto your head. A lot more likely to get shat on from a great height.
If there is something that you really want to achieve then you need to start by turning up. After that comes the hard work and progression but it doesn't happen if your not there and ready to make it happen.
I watch a lot of sport and read a lot of sports autobiographies and the common theme running through them is that these are the people willing to turn up every day. Willing to be there more than anybody else, work harder than anybody else. Find that extra percentage that puts them on top of the pile.
The one that i've just finished is from Sean Cavanagh, an Irish footballer and winner of multiple medals and trophies. He was a talented player but was also putting in the extra hours. Even when he became captain at the end of his career he was the one turning up to every extra training session when he had already paid his dues to the team. Rounding up the young lads and putting them to shame for not matching his work ethic.
Some players get a big break in the strangest of circumstances. A Clare man made his hurling debut on the biggest game of the year at just 19. He got his place because he had been scoring goals in training and after the final was a tie and almost lost due to goals he got his big break. He had been there all the way through and put in the time. Replaced an established player and scored a hat trick in the all ireland final to help win the trophy for the first time in 21 years. He turned up.
I've seen the same people on hive since the day that i joined. Crazy, crazy people. A lot have left but some have turned up every day. Produced content, commented on other posts and gotten involved in lots of projects. They have earned and grown. Build their HP and HBD. Even tha day where you can't write a post or do something big. Try to turn up and do something small. 10 comments will keep you active and earn a few votes. Every step forward is progress.
If you don't turn up you won't move forward. It's very easy to go on instagram for an hour or to waste your time other activities that don't help you in any way. It's a lot smarter to do something progressive that will help you to grow.

Yeehaw! Keep on turning up and putting in that work, partner. Persistence pays off in the end, just like those cowboys who never quit.
Turning up is the bare minimum everyone should be doing. Time on the blockchain equates to faster growth.
We know how to keep stacking.
Every day is another few dollars in the jar.
We have become specialists in the art of growing a stack.
Some things don’t need a college degree, being punctual when you say you’re going to meet someone, and turning up regularly.
Just some wisdom given to me, personally I try to power up some hive every day.
Solid wisdom for anybody to follow.
Turn up, participate and power up.
Can't go far wrong following those steps.
I have to agree. Consistency matters a lot. Especially in money. Each day we save money at somepoint that becomes avalanche and it shows up in account. Same with growing HP and HBD. When I can't feel like writing, that is when I write content in advance and store it for odd days. :)
Exactly.
Even when i can write i will play a few splinterlands battles, comment, do something to add to the stack.
It all compounds over time and we can build up that HBD.
Consistency is the best and the little effort we think we make goes a long way
We just have to show up everyday no matter how little it can be
I wonder if those footballers whose biographies you've read got up from bed in the morning thinking "How can I make an extra buck today?" or "How can I improve today?" or "How can I help the team today?". They probably had the latter two in mind and money were a consequence, if they ever came in high amounts.
That's probably one of the mistakes people make. They think about making money and forget or ignore the path that may lead to that.
The money will come if you are doing the right things.
They are only thinking about how to get that extra percentage and be better than the rest.
If you are doing the right things it will pay off at some stage.
You're right, consistency is underrated. It doesn't have to be big, just turning up here and there does the trick and magic.
So true, turning up is essential and it costs you nothing at the end of the day, just some time.
You're right about hard work too, yhe best of the best are almost always the hardest workers, the hungriest. I must pick up that Seán Cavanagh book. It sounds good.
I'd say Shane O'Donnell will never have to buy a pint in Clare again in his life!
Wouldn't be a fan of sean kavanagh but he had a good autobiography. Worth a read if your into them.
