Yaaay ! My first holiday for almost a year.....

Where do you think I've gone ?

Actually, does it even matter ?, It's warmer and sunnier than England (despite the heatwave we're having back home), the view from the hotel balcony is awesome, and I can take a short break from work to recharge my batteries. I hadn't realised how burnt out I was until I flopped down at our favourite seafront ice cream parlour....

The only thing with holidays is that it always seems to involve fasr more walking than I'm used to. But there's no point setting up an Actifit account for it. In my case, it should probably be an Actifat account anyway ;)

So yeah, posting this week might be a bit intermittent, the laptop is nowhere near as nice to type on as my usual keyboard and there are better things to do involving alcohol and food !

Haha totally feel you on the walking thing. Holiday calories don't count though, right? 😂 Enjoy the food and drinks, the blog can wait. Sometimes disconnecting is exactly what we need

I have part of my family living there and I was there two times many years ago. Yes, it's hard to get bored there, so have a great time!! 😁

Thank you ! We've just gone for a week, I'd love to do longer but our cat-sitter can't take that long away from her regular job (plus I think I'd miss seeing them too much if it was for that long...)

What a breath of fresh air! Yes, holidays always seem to go by so fast, but it's amazing how the after effects linger. It's so good for the soul. Almost like pressing the reset button. Thank you for sharing your holiday pics with us!
