This tree is called talisay. When I was a child, I only saw it on the embankments near the river or in the stream itself, especially when we would go there with my siblings to swim or catch fish. Other Talisay trees there are already big, and I imagine that there are evil engkanto living there, so I was even more scared hahaha lol.

But now, there is a Talisay tree growing near our well, and since we moved here, every time I take a bath or rinse my laundry, I rarely see any Talisay flowers falling into our well.

Because of the heavy rain and wind last night, it has been raining here for several days now. It has not stopped since Typhoon Basyang. So, when I went to our well to take a bath, I was surprised to see so many Talisay flowers in the water and all around it.

The water in our well is clear, and it's not like that. It became looks gray or yellowish because of the rain.

This is the stem of the flower that no longer has flowers because they have already fallen. I'm lucky there is a stem of the flower that I can reach and take a picture of haha.

This is my close-up picture of the flowers scattered on the ground. Look how beautiful they are. If they were all together on top of the tree, it would look like they were lanterns, but when there is a strong wind, they would fall one by one.

Some of them are here, falling on the blades of the grass.

These are the ones that fell on their own tree. The flowers is so adorable that are wasted because they just fall.

There's a bunch of them on the ground. If I could think of a DIY to do here to benefit from it, I would do it haha. How I wish I could think of a way so that it's flower don't get wasted.

The Talisay tree is the only one that surprises me with flowers every time I visit our well; whether it's morning or afternoon, it feels like there's a flower waiting for you in the water to pick up when you go to get some water. Haha, just kidding.
