'Watercolour Tulips and a Pear...I and II'

.

Greetings Dear Art Appreciators;

.
Hope you are well and enjoying the weather wherever you are.

Presenting 'Watercolour Tulips and a Pear I and II', these colourful artworks, whilst our Gardens are still producing lovely growth of all kinds. The flowers, tulips, are in a cut glass vase...the viewer is looking down on the scene.

These paintings are bit different from Bleujay's usual style. The reasoning behind them was to become quite familiar with the colours in the subjects and the use of the colour yellow for a background. Therefore this exercise of noting the colour changes incrementally depending on the light source, degree of darkness, etc. was the goal.

Somehow the artworks proceeded without any photographs. My apologies.

Here's hoping you enjoyed today's paintings.

Wishing you and yours all the best...God's best!
.

...For God loved the world so much that He sent His uniquely born Son (Jesus Christ) so that anyone who believes on Him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3.16

It is faith alone in Christ alone for salvation.

.
Kind Regards,

Bleujay

Apologies accepted! I can see this is not your usual pattern, but it is not bad anyway. It looks nice, and even the colour yellow comes out sharp, too.

Hello @bleujay friend!!!... Both watercolors with a fabulous polychromy, eloquent, and joyful!... They are a light to the spirit when looking at them like that with that zenithal perspective!... Very good work, as always full of talent, just like the base photo for this!... Thank you for sharing, and thank you for the verse from the Gospel of John 3:16... I love reading in the Gospel of John those parts where the nature of the Master Jesus is expressed very clearly... Have a happy weekend full of blessings in union with all your loved ones!... And thank you so much for publishing your work shared with us!

Fantastic pieces! Your style is so distinct and I bet I could pick your pieces from among hundreds at this point.

I wondered what it was that stood out so much and I think it is the non-contrasting backgrounds that lend to the texture of the whole piece.

Bringing life and colour through art.....on the blockchain?! Wonderful as always.

How very kind of you to leave such a lovely comment....thank you.

Yes...That is just what to do...Ask..what makes this work.

On the Blockchain is right...Artists should be quite happy to post their work on the Blockchain....there is not a truer time stamp.

Kind Regards,

Bleujay

The tulips in the photography are amazing, but that background makes it pop out so well in the painting!

It is faith alone in Christ alone for salvation.

Ephesians 2:8–9 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; cit is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

Always an important part of faithful living, freeing us to admire the beauty and wonders of His creation and the depths of God's love.

Greetings @kerrislravenhill ,

Yes...our belief in Christ expressed in faith to God ...'Father, I believe.'

The Bible says 'Believe' again and again...nothing added....It is simple not complicated...and Grace all the way.

So true....Nature/ God's creation shows us what a truly spectacular God we have...deserving of our awe and respect. We worship the Creator rather than the created. Faith-full living. ^__^

Thank you for dropping by...I shall enjoy thinking on your lovely comment.

Kindest Regards,

I enjoyed seeing your paintings with their yellow backgrounds. I like it, but as you know, the more color the better for me. :) I like the top of the pear peeking up on the first one too, a nice little addition.

These tulips look so calming! I like how the yellow background makes the flowers stand out, it kinda reminds me of how small details can brighten up our day.

These paintings are so beautiful and full of life. I really like how the light changes the colors and makes everything look so natural. It’s nice to see you try a different style while still keeping that strong connection to nature.
